Steph of Fields Realty is the best realtor I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Being a long…read moredistance client, I worked with many other realtors in "The County" and I really felt they weren't working for my best interests. I began to lose hope and connecting with Steph was a huge blessing. Her work ethic, integrity, and character are unparalleled. She kept me going and would do remote FaceTime viewings and never pressured me into a bad deal. She always answered the phone with a cheery, "Hey, Girl!", which made talking to her a pleasure. Steph has an outstanding reputation and she deserves the respect that she has earned. I am positive that she will not only continue to change the real estate game in northern Maine, but dominate as she works to grow her business. If you or someone you know is looking to buy or sell, call Fields Realty. You will be happy that you did, I know that I was!

My wife and I had been scouring the dark web for our diamond in the rough, and along our way we…read morecrossed paths with many an unkind Realitor. We often got scoffed at because of our price point wasn't 200k+ even though we told them "we want a fixer upper", and when we did find those fixer uppers they got snatched up quick so my wife and I quickly grew an anxiety of not being able to get a bid in quick enough because we always dealt with slow agents. In steps hero Mindy Braley, this fantastic lady has answered ever single one of my emails with a smile even late at night. She never once scoffed at our offer, or made us feel low class because of our price point and dream. Instead she embraced our vision and helped us every step of the way to purchasing our first house. I have a lot of experience in sales and working with people, and I know when someone's heart isn't into helping you, because they make you feel like you're just a commission, my wife and I can't sing Mindy's praise enough for all of her help, and making us feel welcome and part of the community before we have even arrived. Thank you Mindy, you 1000% have our recommendation as you helped us find our home.

We chose this agent on recommendation from trusted friends and we were not disappointed. She was…read moreresponsive, knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and above all professional. An awful agent, all the bad boxes ticked. I was moving to Maine from California and had done a lot…read moreof research about the area and gotten down to a couple of potential houses. I chose her out of a hat and expected her to be competent and trustworthy; the opposite was true. She would drag her feet in replying to responses, including signed paperwork she had requested from me, even when she had sent me documents and said they were urgent, so badly that by the time she finally got around to doing her job, I had to hire a last-minute fly-by-night moving company, which was a disaster. More importantly, she withheld important material disclosures and represented the house as in good shape (it was not at all and has cost me thousands to repair). And every single vendor or service she recommended to me to use cheated me or did a bad job or were incompetent and one clearly was like that to me because I was a newcomer (they very negatively asked me many questions about where I was from and then cheated me), but no service I found myself did that. To add insult to injury, I had expressed a concern that I would know no one here and she volunteered to be my first friend (to my surprise, actually, since that wasn't part of her job). But once I was here and had completed the purchase, she didn't even come back to retrieve her own sign. Then three times in cafes she looked right through me like she didn't know who I was and the fourth time looked directly at me and sneered. She may be an ok agent for locals looking for a new house, but if you are moving here from another state, beware. She seems to be the type that groups with others to take advantage of newcomers while treating them far less than well. In one word, slimy. Try Better Homes and Gardens Realty. They just started here and surely welcome newcomers..
