Can't believe I found a new favorite Mexican restaurant. I saw the Yelp reviews and had to give it a try, I'm stoked that I did. Definitely going into the rotation. I had the asada burrito supreme, delicious, huge and priced nicely. I also got a side of rice and beans, so good. The guacamole was fantastic as well as the pico de gallo. We all loved the freshly made tortilla chips. Amy said her California burrito was delicious and packed with asada. The green and red sauce were also perfectly done. They have excellent food I really enjoy their TRIPAS and random specials. They have really good thick chili and their staff is always so kind and polite. Plus their MENUDO is really delicious for the price and that's it's right around the corner from me. Sometimes I go there for just fries or for an HORCHATA with light ice because that's how I prefer my drinks on a regular base. I can eat breakfast for every meal and Jose's Bacon breakfast burrito is out of this world. There is so much of it and I don't know what brand of bacon he uses, it's WONDERFUL. The burrito is huge and I generally can't get through one, I manage to get through at least half way. I will save the other half for lunch(dinner) if I have room for more. It reheats great. I ordered 3 carnitas taco supreme and a chile relleno (a la cart) and my husband got a carnitas burrito supreme (no beans). The taco were very good, they do not put salsas on them so make sure to ask for some. The chile relleno I didn't enjoy as much but was very surprised the gave guac, lettuce, sour cream and a tomato on the side since it was a la cart. My husband love his burrito and they did not add beans as requested. There lady that took my order was patient with me since I like to review the menu 1000 times and restaurant was very clean. The only thing I really don't like is that when you order tacos or something that's not wrapped to-go the put it on a plate style container and cover it with foil and then sit your other food on top so now you have to scrap your food off the foil. Absolutely delicious chile verde super burrito! The chile verde wasn't as deeply flavorful as some others I've had (it's my go-to meat for burritos) but it was certainly still delicious and the rest of the burrito was spot on! The tortilla was especially great. The burrito came on a styrofoam plate with foil covering, not the super tight wrap style you'll find in the Bay, so I recommend eating over the plate in case all the amazing juices escape. I went here for a quick late bite with my husband and he is mildly allergic to tomatoes, so he specifically asked no tomatoes in his burrito. When we received our order his burrito had tomatoes so we let them know. And they said there is nothing they can do about it and said they could not remake it even though it was their mistake. I have been getting food from this place since 2017, I loved the green salsa was my favorite dressing for the burritos and plates, it was perfect Flavorful and a little hot! but around 2019 they change the recipe.. it was so hot I couldn't stand to use it anymore now at the begging of this year I took the green salsa again and the old recipe was back! Now the other day I got 2 green salsas and here is the proof that they have 2 different kind of "green" salsa besides the red one; one is for sure green (the one with the happy face) you can see it is green and delicious! and the other one has a hint of red and that one my friends is hot! so whoever is messing out the green salsa please stop! The staff is friendly and their food is just bomb. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I would recommend getting the burrito loco (it's very huge, so I would just eat the first half and save the other half for the next day, it reheats very well). I was very happy to see my fish lunch. A very hefty portion of white breaded fish, with a garnish salad and beans with rice. The sauces were paired nicely with the fish (I prefer green) and the steaming hot tortillas allowed me to make three tacos. I appreciate the great customer service and on Friday's this was the special of the day. $10 bucks well spent. I gotta say that this place is always clean and the service is very fast. I have tried everything, and I can say that their menudo is also delicious. I even tried their burger. I work not too far away and enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the programming on tv (I appreciate the low volume). Whoa the size of this burrito is surprising lol. I was kind of skeptical cause the price says $9.99 for a shrimp and steak burrito. I thought it was standard to have cheese/sour cream on a super burrito but I guess not at this place, theirs come with ranch ? Yuck. I asked for no ranch/pico de Gallo, and for it to have cheese/sour cream. It went from $9.99 to $13.00 for cheese and sour cream ?? Damn lol. The quesadillas here are good. The environment is friendly. They have high seating and low seating! The horchata is watery and doesn't my bf and I don't like it as much compared to other places with horchata. It wasn't as sweet. I ordered a shrimp burrito and carne Asada fries. Usually at merced places they use nacho cheese sauce on the carne asada fries - which is weird coming from someone who used to live in SoCal.
