Three times I have visited in the last 3 months and been refused service or had rude comments made so I could not enjoy myself. First I went in with a friend who was having a problem with a friend of Carol the bartender. Carol started making rude comments about our conversation. We left. The second time I went in while Carol was there. I had been attempting to go after her shift. She was still doing shift change. She told the other bartender that my niece could not be in the deli portion of the business because the deli was closed? I though OLCC rules require food must be available while a business sells alcohol. Did they stop selling alcohol? Why is there a sign stating that No minors allowed in the lottery area. This indicated that children are allowed in the deli portion which is where we were. Today, I went in to buy some wine to go. The business sells beer to go. The bartender and the owner said that they did not think they could sell wine. OK, but it seems odd that no matter when I deal with this person, she is rude and/or obstructive. What a way to run a business! BTW the other people working there are very nice and friendly. Too bad they have one bad apple. read more
