We were fortunate enough to have a family friend refer Catelife Home Care to us, which she was using. We were able to have our family member cared for by their wonderful caregivers the last few weeks of her life, then the night she passed away. I was only able to talk to them on the phone but they were so caring, patient and kind. I felt so comfortable having them there with my Aunt! Every time I called they encouraged my Aunt to talk to me, near the end my connection was with the caregiver, and that was enough. The day my Aunt passed away I had asked our Minister if he could talk to my Aunt on the phone even though she wouldn't talk, I arranged it with the caregiver, who was a little surprised but she was happy to do it. I believe this helped my Aunt pass comfortably with her son and two grandchildren given approval to be at her side. I thank Care Life and their wonderful caregivers for supporting us through this sad time, I appreciate you, and will continue to share our great experiences with our family and friends. Im…read morereally surprised that there are only a handful of companies that provide aftercare for elective surgeries without asking for almost as much as the price of the procedure. I was scheduled for a medical procedure and many of the companies I called wanted me to give them an arm, a leg and then my first born child. Also, I wanted to stay home instead of staying away from my family. After some research and prayer I found this company on Yelp and decided to contact them. I'm so glad I did. I spoke to Tanya and she was friendly and encouraging. I immediately felt how genuine she was and knew this was the company. She assured me that she'd find the right person for my specific needs and we would speak again closer to the date of my procedure to finalize everything. I spoke to her again a week before my procedure and was pleased to hear she didn't let me down. I met with Therese a couple days before my procedure at my home and we discussed my needs along with making sure I had everything I needed for my aftercare. Therese met my husband at my home after the procedure and all I can say is I didn't want for anything from that point on. Therese made sure I was comfortable, that I was hydrated and made me broth to sip on the first day. She ensured I stayed in schedule with my medications and assisted me with all of my needs. I didn't want for anything. Therese stayed with me for a few days and I was sad to see her go. It truly was a pleasure having her care for me. In closing, I would highly recommend A Better Way.
