I'm moving out of the country soon, but rest assured, this office is so great that I will be scheduling my dental appointments and checkups/cleaning when I am back home on breaks. I'm always called back at if not before my appointment time, never have to wait between seeing the hygienist and Dr. Ecken. Efficiency is the name of the game here! You won't regret making this practice your stop for all of your dental needs!!! Plus, they're hilarious... going to the dentist is fun when you go here :)

Two years ago, my plan failed and I had the worst pain my mouth I had ever felt. I found Dr. Ecken's office through my insurance and it was conveniently two miles from my house. I walked into the small waiting room and was met with the best dental experience of my life. This dentist is a straight shooter. She explained each part of the procedure we went through. Explained the x-rays to me, gave me details on problems, and had me in and out of the office in just under and hour. I come here for my regular teeth cleaning and I've always been brought back immediately for my appointment. Even after I move, I'll be coming back to this dentist.

The last visit to them they said I didn't have to pay anything and later they sent me a bill for the X-rays I had done which they told me I needed them until this most recent visit where the dental hygienist told me those X-rays I had last year were not really needed. There was miscommunication in their part at the time but all in all this a good dentist.

After I arrived I was taken back to my room and assessed by the dental assistant. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. The doctor came in and proceeded to evaluate my tooth. A office staff came in with a breakdown of the procedures and costs. She gave me the total and my payment options. The expense was a little more than I expected but it was an emergency so I guess it will all be worth it in the long run. I am sorry I didn't catch the name of the Dr that I saw but he was very young and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

They as a family live near the practice and they love their children. There have been times when by no fault of my own or theirs that some crowns had to be remade. Reading some of the other comments may have been fair criticism but on the flip side they are people too. Friendly interaction is acceptable. And we only have 1 side of the story from the other clients. I have never felt like I was being ignored or could not approach them about any issues. I tell them what is going on and they investigate and fix the issue. Would highly recommend them.

Tried to sell me a $60 water jet home cleaning kit which I'm glad I didn't buy. When finished with the X-rays & a talk I was told they would clean my teeth a half at a time. I'm like ok let's get started. They said well we can't start on your teeth today because we're booked with patients for the day. I said ok well when? They told me to stop at the front desk on my way out to schedule the next appointment. I get to the front desk & am told they can't get me back in till June! Over 3 months away! That information should have been disclosed before they charged up my insurance with X-ray charges & what ever else they charged for! So now as I'm sure they knew I'm stuck waiting on them & can't go anywhere else unless I pay for it. I would not have proceeded with X-rays had I known I was going to have to wait 3 months knowing the dental & gum issues I'm having. I feel duped! And everyone else I've talked to agrees. I called them the day after to discuss that the fact that I don't think their process was fair at all to me. The woman that took the call got cocky with me about it. After talking to her rude little self & thinking about how this whole thing has played out I will be calling my insurance company to inform them of the situation & to see what can be done about it. I needed more than a deep teeth cleaning but I will be going back to my previous dentist for those things. At least I trust him. He's just not local but I've never had these types of issues with him. This is a second review today 5/31/23.... I recieved a call today from a professional nice spoken person to inform me they had a cancellation today & checking to see if I want that appointment I can have it. Well I work 12 hour shifts yesterday today & tomorrow so I'm not able to as I informed her. I also informed her I now have severe pain & swelling so I really need to get in there the 19th as scheduled if not sooner. The nice lady then said she was so sorry to inform me, hearing that I'm having pain & swelling, but the dental hygienist will not, as they thought, be in the office on the day I'm scheduled for my deep cleaning OMG!!! DO NOT and I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I wait months after them sucking up my dental insurance for X-rays & who knows what else only to get the run around?? I didn't go there to pay for X-rays! I went there to get a deep cleaning!! Their dental hygienist cares nothing about her license or her patients. And trust me I could say more. It's obvious they only want to keep the money & appointment s flowing to please their budget & payroll at the expense of "certain" customers.!!!! Is the owners not checking in on how this place is doing business?? Take those charges off my insurance from months ago or I will let a judge give a court order to do so.
