He is holistic minded, understand parents who want a more natural approach and does an exponential job explaining everything & making sure we are making decisions based on education. Because he is so amazing, it may take a while to become an established patient and he does his pricing different, but that's what works for him and his office. And he has every right to run his office the way he wants. It may not be the right fit for everyone- and that's okay! Additionally, I just wanted to express how grateful I am for all the times I had to make an emergency appointment and their staff was able to get me in the same day or next day to get the best care for my daughter. The homeopathic remedies works wonders!! I'm always amazed at how quickly her symptoms subside and her body is able to better adapt to the situation. I had a lot of qualities that the Doctor would need to possess and needless to say Dr. Allen went way above and beyond. My son was born woth a rare genetic disease which did not really take full effect until his second birthday. Dr. allen was able to see he was showing signs of delay very early on and referred us to the early start program. He was so kind as to encourage us with a message of hope that we would help Finn overcome his challenges. He was able to supply us with healthier options for teething issues, as well as, giving us advice on sleeping and preventing fevers. Dr. Allen helped us navigate the devastating turn shortly after my son's second birthday. After a two month stay at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, our first stop was to see Dr. Allen. He was very quick to help build back up the encouragement that Finn is going to do exactly what Finn is going to do. Dr. Allen has given us a deeper insight on labs and diagnosis, he has been wonderul at giving us supplements to help combat the side effects for the nasty medication he needs to be on and hes helped with pain management. He has also given us so much help when we have emergency hospital visits. He has supported mothers intuition (which has been right thus far) he has referred us to compassionate specialists. All I can say is, we live Dr. Allen. He and his team and a bright and guiding light during our very dark journey and I am so grateful yo have such a caring, honest and intelligent doctor double check the qork of everyone else that is involved in Finns life. Not only did she unconfirm my worst fear but in such a way I didn't feel like I was being over the top for thinking that could be what I have. She agreed I needed tonsillectomy at 41 but she asked me 3 times if I was sure given how difficult the recovery is and how painful it is but assured me she would handle the pain. The office manager I wasn't happy with as she gave me the run around because the doctor was new to the practice and she hadn't been accredited for both of my insurance's yet. And refused to look into anything else but said she would look into a different doctor being able to take my case. But I wanted Dr.Nyland. Long story short she finally did my surgery on 12/4 and boy was Dr.Nyland not kidding it is awful. But the doctor set me up for success with pain management. Because of regime of how to handle it if I stay on top of it stays at a 6/10. If I don't do every 4 hours to 1-2 tablets it gets it to where I can at lease drink water. I was scared with running out of meds cause my pharmacy told me something completely different. But I called on Friday and the MA assured me to take 1-2 every 4 hour's and not to worry it is the worst pain I will feel in life and they have my back if they need to order anything else. I don't know who the past doctor was at this practice but don't let the stars effect up to 6 months ago as Dr.Nyland is new to the practice. She is kind and comical. I'm incredibly glad I waited. And as a person who gets judged because of my tattoos and meds list she didn't. Thank you Dr.Nyland and staff for helping me through this darkest time of my life.

She performed surgery on me but did not fix the issue I originally came in for. What is most upsetting is that only after the surgery did I find out that my problem could have been completely resolved in a single visit. Instead, only part of the problem was addressed. If all the possible options and consequences had been explained to me beforehand, I would have made a completely different decision. Now I have to live with a result that I am not happy with and the realization that the opportunity to fully solve the issue was missed. I feel extremely disappointed because I trusted my health to this so-called doctor. After the surgery, I was left with regret and frustration, knowing that I now have to suffer because of an incompetent specialist. My experience with this doctor was extremely negative. I strongly recommend avoiding Dr. Deanne Nyland and this clinic. If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would do so without hesitation.

It has been a week and a half since I was told by Dr. Yee's P.A. Erwin, that I needed to have a throat scan done. No problem. BUT to get this office to send over the procedure request to DRI is another JOKE of a problem. The 2 female receptionists are on their phones the entire time shopping or browsing. Then they just sit and laugh loudly and I have an appointment on Dec. 13th to see the scan results! I can't even get the scan done without it being ordered. Plus, this 'waiting room / office' is extremely filthy! Looks like they do not even vacuum the carpet, and it is STAINED horrribly. Not happy with this first experience with this staff of 3. It can be difficult to find a good doctor in the Carmichael area. Rest assured, Doctor Homler is one of the good ones. My wait time at the office has generally been in the range of 5-10 minutes and the office staff is courteous, efficient, and pleasant. I could not recommend Dr. Homler more highly, whether it be as a family physician, general practitioner, or his specialty as an Internist. Fees are extremely reasonable and they take most insurance carriers. Patient long term health is their definite priority. Dr. Homler is consistently rated in the top ten of health practitioners in the Sacramento area and he definitely has earned that distinction. Lol I was allergic to chicken, rice, beef, pork and even lamb which I love so much. That's not all. Lettuce, tomatoes... there goes my salad. The other allergist told me to avoid all these foods for the rest of your life or else you will always be miserable after eating them. These foods would give me lots of acid reflux, gas, heart burn, stomach pain or I would break out badly in my face, neck and chest area. Dr. Roc will ask u to bring that exact food and not eat or touch it for 24 hrs. Then u can go crazy on that food or even certain drink like milk, coffee or even egg nog. Haha... And u will be fine. No drugs. No shots. And no drowsiness. I even tried this special type of spice which I loved called Pico Limon and I used to always break out when I'd try it but NOT anymore. One thing he said and I never forgot it: People are usually allergic to things that they really love, or really really hate. It's rarely in between.
