We called Greater Connecticut Oral & Dental Implants and they told us to come right down (even though we were at least 45 minutes away). Dr. Lee was wonderful--patiently took care of my husband, extracted the tooth, and we were on our way home by 6. Staff was also very kind and helpful, even though it was well past closing time. The next morning the office called us to see how the patient was. I was happy to report my husband had a good night's sleep, had very little pain was recovering well. Starting about five months ago, I called and, as instructed by the voicemail, left a message. I did this three times over a number of months and never received a return call. Finally on the fourth attempt I was able to get through. I made an appointment and was seen by Dr. Carlone's daughter, Mia. She was very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, she botched the simple re-cementing of the crown for which I was being seen. She did not remove the existing cement from inside the crown before re-attaching it; therefore, the tooth had a higher profile and caused a misalignment in my bite (all other top and bottom teeth in my mouth were unable to touch after she finished). She tried filing down both the crown and the tooth below it to remedy this issue without success. Then she told me the crowned tooth had likely "migrated" and the problem could go away over time. The (qualified) dentist I found immediately was taken aback by this treatment, as well as by the tooth migration excuse (not possible in three days, he said). And now, because he had to destroy the crown in order to restore my proper bite, I have an additional expense.

In regards to cancellation policies as with the one star review, it is clearly posted in their office and patients are informed of this prior. If you don't cancel within 24 hours you will be charged a small fee as with most doctors offices nowadays.
