Today is Tuesday and I received a voicemail saying "just to let you know you have an appointment scheduled this Friday and unfortunately we are going to need to cancel that appointment. I, of course, called after being told I can no longer go to the same doctor anymore and was told well that would mean I can't get my prescription refilled and I immediately am done taking the same medicine I've been taking since high school and I need to find a different doctor... pretty much saying I'm not their problem anymore! After back and fourth phone calls all day and different stories as to how they came to this decision. I pretty much found out the office got audited in some way because of prescription they have been prescribing (I'm guessing the wrong way) and now pretty much are just going to get rid of the patients they must have messed up the paperwork on. He came back 5 minutes later and went to another room to work on a patient. These sessions now take about 10 minutes each so if I stayed for my appointment which would then have begun at about 850 am it would have screwed up my entire day. I walked out and won't be returning. Doctors think they can get away with over booking and ignoring people whom also are very busy. Real doctors can get away with that because people go to them when they are ill and need help. Chiropractors don't have that luxury, if they can't stick to a schedule then maybe they shouldn't be in business.
