Nice selection of clothes, but crappy service.... I was looking for mens scarves. It was my birthday and I was buying myself a present, this location is by SCHEELS in the strip mall. I walk in and the two guys working there are having a conversation, I ask if there are any scarves and I'm told "ya over there and over there" and back to the conversation. Must have been important!! I then ask if there are any holiday sales? "no the price is the price we don't put things on sale for the holidays" and back to the important conversation with the co worker. It looked like they had a lot of nice stuff but the staff didn't seem to care that much. And considering I was the only customer in the store it didn't make much sense? It must have been a really important conversation. UPDATE: To Laurren, I love the these fake concern auto reply that they send you, " o were sorry to here that you had a bad experience bla bla bla" they give you a fake link that leads to the web site with no direction as to who to talk to no direct link for a problem just the web site, nothing says i care like a link that leads to nothing in particular!! read more

Disappointing Experience Selection is what you'd expect from a bricks and mortar Jos A Bank, but the service at this Omaha location is absolutely repulsive. It's only because I needed to try something in for fit that I want in, but do not plan to return if I can help it. C'mon, you can do better, and if you don't, this location will soon close as many others have across the US. Won't ever go back . Salesman was worthless. Tried to get him to help me with a couple custom made shirts. He told me to go to DXL first and then come back if they couldn't help me. I website for a consultation for the next day. The day of I didn't hear anything back about a confirmation so I emailed. I got a phone call from a salesman who was very aggressive the moment I answered the phone. He was pushy, rude, and very demanding, and kept saying that he didn't waste his time and was very demanding and pushy to find out what I even wanted zero zero patients. I tried to bear with because I don't know this person and trying to just give him a little in case maybe I was miss reading his tone. But he kept on demanding that he refuses to do consultations unless the bride and groom are at the appointment and again kept pushing that so I just shut I said hey man, you're very rude pushy and aggressive and I don't think I really anymore. I think I don't wanna waste your time so I think we could just cancel. He tried to defend himself, but I listened for three minutes and still said I'm sorry man if this is what it's gonna be like at a consultation I'm just not interested and I hung up read more

I went into this store a couple of weeks ago to get measured and to purchase a new suit. A small elderly gentleman helped me. This man was by far the rudest, and most disrespectful sales associate that I have ever encountered. There were WAY too many details to discuss in this review. The experience ended with me finally just walking out. After I left I called the store to speak with the manager about my experience. It was so bad that I figured I would help this manager out, so that he knows what's going on in his store, as opposed to just leaving negative internet reviews. I called the store and left my information with a different sales associate. I was told that the manager, "Travis", would get back to me as soon as possible. It's been a few weeks and I have still not been contacted, so here I am on Yelp. Judging by the other reviews this man has been a problem for a long time, and the problem has never been addressed, Just continuous lip service from some Joseph A. Bank customer service rep that is miles away. I will never step foot in this store again, and will advise all others to do the same. read more

I wanted to love this place so much. We first tried Men's Warehouse and it was a total nightmare. So, we came to Jos A Bank. When we arrived, it was a bit hectic and short staffed, but hey, who isn't anymore?! So we stayed. The manager came and helped us and he was very nice and knowledgeable. We ended up discussing so many options and he would give honest feedback on his opinions and what would and would not work and why. For this I was extremely appreciative. Then when it came time to order, we wanted to order a try on suit for my husband because he is very tall and on the thicker side and the suit we liked was a slim fit so we were nervous. It never came. We called SEVERAL times. Never came. So, then we had to make the decision to just order it. That was very frustrating, but we had no choice at that point. Fast forward to the day before the wedding when everyone went to pick up their suits.... first of all, the tie colors looked NOTHING like what we ordered. Then to top it all off, 4 out of the 7 guys sizes were wrong.... they all went to a Jos A Banks to get fitted, so the fact that they were so wrong was concerning. I am talking like inches wrong. One of the sales associates (the younger one) is great and really helpful, helped my son get a full suit and multiple shirts. Next time I went in for my other son (and he wasn't with me) to get some dress shirts, same guy was really helpful and got me the right size based on my description of his build. He gets 5 stars. I had to return one of the shirts, the next day, due to the color. An older gentleman was working at the register, he told me he'd be right with me as soon has he completed an order. When he finished he looked at me then an older gentleman that just walked up with a purchase and said to him, "I think you were next", and went to help him. The man even stated, no she's been waiting and the older salesman disagreed and ushered him over. He gets 0 stars. read more

Jos A Bank has been my go to for years. I'm a traditional guy with my dress and they are the last bastion of non skinny jeans (trust me you don't want to see me in those. For your sake dear reader, I don't buy)! This store has average customer service reps. I had three different folks over one weekend and they all had three different opinions and three different ways of what the instyle is. I'd suggest standardizing what is "in" having one consistent message. The three stars is because I love their clothes and could buy way too much. I'm editing this review as I always give another star to any company's manager who responds directly to me and takes the feedback. True customer service by the managers part. With them leading the store I'm sure it will get better. read more

We ordered my son and husband's tuxs here. Either fit even though they both got fitted here as well. The rude lady tried to tell me that dress shoes are supposed to hurt your feet and the shirt my son had was supposed to be big and baggy. My husband's jacket was a size too small as well. I had to forcibly tell her she needs to overnight a new pair of pants and shoes for my son and a new jacket for my husband. She did not want to. I recently moved to Omaha and needed a new place to get work clothes. I typically do not go to retail franchise dealers like this, I have always preferred boutique suit stores. I guess I just assumed the quality was better but I was WRONG!! The quality of the 1905 and traveler suit are perfect if you wear suits every day and actually need to work and be comfortable in them! Their tailor is also very good!! I am super picky about how my suits fit and most of the time they are done very well... and if they don't fit the way I like them they will accommodate. They also have a higher line of custom suits and executive suits that are more for formal wear. The customer service has always been exceptional there are a few people in there that are my "go-to guys", Travis and Bob. The other three people who gave this Store a one star review are probably the same type of people who leave no tip at a restaurant when they go out to eat... If you are looking for quality and excellent customer service this is a perfect place for you! read more

These aren't folks I would want to work with again. I needed to pick up my suit for a wedding and I was told they would have my suit done the very next day. When I went in to get measured for alterations the worker was less than gracious and told me it would be five days. Just to get it done I told him I would pay extra to have them finish the alterations. After some scowling he told me it would be done the next day. I received a phone call the next day telling me they had broken their needle and that my suit wouldn't be finished until the following day at 5:00 pm. It's not the wait that gets Joseph A Bank one star. It's the bad attitude and unwillingness to serve that earns them the one star. Greatness comes from going above and beyond and certainly you will not find that at Joseph A Bank. In truth I have been in search of a great clothier for some time now. I was excited to go into Joseph A Bank. Maybe this was just one bad experience. With an apology I would go back. They have a great clothing selection. Wack a** store. Took weeks from them to get in my clothes and when it came time to pick up my clothes they didn't order my requested shirt. When I asked about it, they told me the person who ordered it was no longer with them and it wasn't their fault? And don't waste your money on their tailoring. Poor fit and the price is way too high. Overall a trash store selling cheap clothes at a high price. If you care about how you look at all in clothes, stay far from this place. read more

Friend referred me to Jos A. Bank. So read the reviews. Any review about Travis or Tracey is pretty awesome. Any bad review has one thing in common, the customer always had Bob. So I just told myself to ask for Travis or Tracey. Unfortunately, neither were in today. So I was served by the older guy who met me at the door when I walked in. He was terrible, said everything looked/fit great on me as he handed me suits to try on....even when many were super tight. I'm 240 pounds and he handed me several "Slim Fit" suits that I could barely button. I asked if more variations were available via their online store and he said no. But I pulled my phone out and looked anyways because I saw some online that I was hoping to try in the store...then he changed his mind and said "maybe" i'd find something online. So eventually decided to buy only 2 suits and as we were heading to checkout, he told me "You know these won't be ready for a month", not something more polite like, "Due to how busy we are, we won't be able to have these ready for 4-5 weeks, is that okay." He said he had a number of a 3rd party alterations person who could do it quicker, but I was concerned about losing warranty on fit or future free alternations...he said it's the same. So then when i specifically asked, "if i have alterations done in the store, do I get free alternations for the life of the suite (like Men's Warehouse)?" He said, yeah but for only like a year or two....well that's not the same I'd get from his 3rd party alterations contact. So I asked him, "Well, which is it, free alterations for 1 year or 2 years, because I've never heard of a ~1-2 years of free alterations...to open-ended". At this point in time, I just couldn't respect myself for giving him by business with his terrible customer service. So as I walked out, I grabbed the manager's card at the counter and asked my sales rep his name....go figure, it was "Bob". Now I understand why everyone one of these reviews says to ask for Travis or Tracey and avoid Bob. I wish I had a choice. I drove immediately to Men's Warehouse, the customer service was phenomenal, and I bought three suits, 3 shirts, and two ties. I do believe the prices are better at Jos A Banks, selection better at Mens Warehouse, and customer service WAY better at Men's Warehouse unless you can avoid Bob. But you'd think that management would stop responding to Yelp reviews regarding all the negative comments about Bob and just take action to solve it....not sure they are doing anything about it, or else their verbal counseling is just not effective. Otherwise, they will simply continue to lose business despite having a good value product. read more

Brother purchased suits for us for his wedding. Got told if I live in another state I would just have to go to the closest location to me to get measured and they would send the right size suit down to the state I live in. I went and got sized up tried on the suits. It takes me over 2 and half hours to get to the nearest location. Get a call my suit stoves I go and they sent down the way way way wrong size about 6 sizes to small and they said they lost the measurements that the location near me sent them and I was there when they called them in. So I drive over 5 hours round trip for absolutely nothing. Just had a note on the suit saying it was up to this other location to get in the right suit for me. So I took it as Tracy didn't want to do the work so she pushed it off on another location even though she gets commission on it. Also when my brother went in one time her coworkers said they didn't know where she was she never came back from vacation and they couldn't get a hold of her. Cant trust them on their word just seems like lazy sales people. read more

My husband bought two suits as he needed new ones badly. Was told they would be done on a certain day, which was repeatedly assured in store. Guess what? They were not done and the next day he was leaving for a conference. Salesperson on phone didn't care and acted surprised when told the date he guaranteed. He could care less when my husband said he needed these for a conference. This store just lost all future business from us! read more

So much for backing your product. I bought a suit back in December. Took over a month to get it tailored and then when I took it home to wear it, it was incorrectly done. I took it back and they were going to "fix it" and I left it with them. I should have known when they called me 2 days later to tell me it was done that they didn't do anything to it. I picked it up on my way home from a meeting so I didn't have time to try it on and that was a mistake. They didn't make any changes and it still doesn't fit. What a waste of money! This company is a bunch of lying thieves and I would avoid them at all costs. Buyer beware I guess. read more
