There was a line when we got there, but went in and put our name on the list and within a couple of minutes we were called in to a table. The hostess was very sweet and our waitress was fantastic! We ordered the salsa especial. What it wasn't hot at all and it was just OK. I prefer Ted's atomic salsa flavor wise and it's complementary whereas it's an extra charge here. Chips and queso were plentiful and the tortillas were good and chewy! We ordered beef, taco tacos, chimichanga, and the enchilatrada. All were good. Sopapillas were warm and fluffy, as they should be! Honestly, the best part were the people. Everyone was so friendly and our waitress checked on us over and over and made sure we had everything!

It was a 40 minute ride home so it tastes a lot better than the pictures show. I had a chile relleno and enchilada with beans and rice and a soft taco. Salsa was a touch salty and the cheese a touch watery but again it was Togo and travelled a bit. Wasn't as good as fine in but it fit the bill.

Chips and salsa were great as well as the queso. I prefer more smooth salsa like theirs not a fan of the chunky. It was good and flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. Dining area was clean and comfortable with a mix of tables and booths. Family friendly parking is great. Only downfall is it's a little tricky getting into the parking lot due to the proximity of 45th and hwy 177 it's an odd angle and 3 ways stop. Aside that was a great experience will be going back.

It was very busy when we walked in but there was no wait. We were thankfully seated immediately and started off with chips and salsa. The chips were nice and crispy, but the salsa was mediocre. The tomatoes tasted canned. While I can totally get the efficiency behind using canned tomatoes for a busy restaurant, the taste is not preferred. The kids chicken quesadilla plate was a good amount of food! I just wish the quesadilla was already sliced as it was for our 3 year old. The chicken was also bland. Again, the portions were great. My son ordered the Burrito La Herencia with ground beef and this was seasoned well. Again, great portions of beans, rice & main dish. No complaints with this one! My spouse ordered the La Herencia fajita special and felt as if it was lacking. The steak pieces were minuscule and the shrimp was bland and undercooked. The pork chop was thinly sliced which was nice but VERY salty. We were wishing for more peppers and onions as well. Overall this dish was salty, but tolerable! It came with a side plate of rice, beans, pico de gallo, guac, sour cream & lettuce. Served with flour tortillas. We ordered the queso & guac while we were looking at the menu and waiting. I personally did not enjoy the queso. It was thick and had an artificial mouth feel. The guac was decent! Bland overall but I love the taste of avocado. I wish it had more lime and seasoning though since it was supposed to be Guacamole and not avocado dip. I ordered the Steak Mexicano with extra jalapeños and this was very good. Still on the salty side but I enjoy things on a SLIGHTLY saltier range. My spouse thought the steak was TOO salty. The peppers, onions, and tomatoes were nicely sautéed and seasoned. The rice here is also DELICIOUS. I hate a bland Mexican rice. The beans were good too but nothing to write home about. I do wish I was offered a side of corn tortillas. Overall this experience was okay! Not the worst but definitely not the best. The restaurant was beautifully decorated but there was a noticeable lack of music. We were sat listening to the chatter of all the different customers and kitchen noises. We did have the option of booth or table AND they have boosters seats/ high chairs upon request.

He asked what kinds of flavors we liked and created dishes that absolutely hit the mark. The service and attention to detail were outstanding. The salsa and fresh flour tortillas were delicious, but when we told Raul we liked things spicy, he brought out a salsa with the perfect kick. It was fantastic! The restaurant isn't fancy, but if you're looking for great Tex-Mex, excellent service, and people who genuinely want you to enjoy your meal, Chelino's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be making another trip back. Thanks, Raul, for a great dining experience!

We lived in Oklahoma for years and would drive from Norman to Edmond for this restaurant. Dare I say, it is better than Tarahumara's in Norman for a fraction of the price! Service is excellent!! The staff quickly brings out chips, salsa, and cheese dip. The cheese is always hot, and their salsa has that distinctive flavor that keeps you coming back for more. We both ordered the chicken fajita chimichanga - consistently perfect every time. It arrived piping hot with the ideal blend of flavors - seasoned chicken, fresh vegetables, and a crispy exterior. What sets 3 Tequilas apart is their commitment to both food quality and service. My only complaint? We don't have one back in Chicago! This restaurant has become our go-to spot whenever we're in town. It is a smaller restaurant, with a smaller parking lot; however, we have never had a long wait and food is always delivered within 10 minutes of ordering. If you're in the OKC area, do yourself a favor and visit 3 Tequilas. Your taste buds will thank you!

My wife suggested Jimador Mexican Restaurant, and since we had enjoyed it once before--especially the guacamole--we were happy to return. The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, and the guacamole was every bit as good as we remembered. If you visit, I'd definitely recommend starting there. For our entrées, I ordered the lunch fajitas while my wife chose the taco salad. Unfortunately, neither dish was particularly memorable. My wife felt her taco salad lacked flavor and could have used more lettuce and cheese. I tried a bite myself, and I'd have to agree--it just didn't stand out. The lunch fajitas were decent, but they weren't what I expected. They contained much more tomato than traditional fajitas, which changed the overall flavor profile. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly. The atmosphere was also quiet and relaxing, making it an easy place to enjoy lunch. Overall, Jimador delivered on service, chips, salsa, and guacamole, but the entrées missed the mark this time. I'd return again, but next visit I'll definitely order something different.

For the main course, I ordered Pollo Con Chile Verde which was accompanied by rice and beans. The dish was amazing, albeit not as heavily doused in Verde sauce as I am used to. However, the Monterey Jack cheese was bountiful, the chicken perfectly cooked; moist and we'll seasoned. The Chilies were well cooked, but still had a bite of crispiness to them. I loathed the need of eating the entire platter, so I vouched for a to-go box. It was a personal love/hate/love thing.
