Dr. Pleasant is so wonderful and kind and caring of his patients. Tonya, I see for most…read moreappointments, listens to me and helps me work through or offers solutions to my concerns. She guides me and helps me adapt to situations concerning my care. I can't say the same thing for the Southern Pain and Spine group as a whole! Since taking over or merging with PCA I have had several problems with appointments. From the very first appointment with them they admitted to some not being transferred to their new schedule INCLUDING MINE! Which, of course I wasn't aware of until after I had arrived! Billing me more for a procedure done 6 MONTHS prior to their taking over and then changing an appointment without phoning me. Just a text reminder. Since I already knew when my appointment was I didn't read the the entire text (which was EXACTLY the same except the original date had changed) AND they had the audacity to say I called and changed the appointment myself!!! Doctors are great, PAs and back staff are great but pay attention to reception (not schedulers if you call) when setting appointments and KEEP CHECKING!!!

I'm not sure if people use Yelp to find a doctor, but for what it's worth, Dr. Hull is a great one…read more He's a primary care physician but has done extensive research in the psychiatric arena. Dr. Hull listens well, asks good questions for the sake of understanding and genuinely seems to care about his patient's wellbeing. Unlike a lot of doctor's offices, you don't have to schedule an appointment a year in advance to see him. He'll often have cancellations and is sometimes even willing to do phone sessions if you're traveling! The only downside is he doesn't accept any form of insurance, so it's $100 a visit. However, they do give you a super-bill to submit to your insurance; I always get most of the $100 back when I file the claim. New Start also has a large staff of psychologists and counsellors on staff, making it easy to couple medication with cognitive behavioral therapy. Stop the stigma and take care of your mental health today!

Med school dau. in 3rd yr appreciated Dr Lambert's humor & consummate knowledge, so I have liked seeing him train his NPC's, PA's, & young MA's. Hint: He's adept at skin biopsies & excisions leaving nary a trace of a scar, which beat a derm. I saw once.

I went to West Georgia Urology after a hospital stay. Let me first day that overall, I was treated…read morevery well. I eneded up having surgery and the doctor / surgeon did an amazing job. Its been a few months and I feel fantastic again. The office staff - Lady at the check in counter is very nice. Always pleasant but also all business. Nurses and P/A staff were amazing. I was very uncomfortable and in a bit of pain. They were patient and understanding with me My surgeon was a good guy. Unfortunately he was all business and "bedside manner " lacking. One of my procedures made me very uncomfortable and nervous. He had no patience for me and my concerns or the fact that the process was very uncomfortable for me I only saw him for that one procedure, the consultant before my surgery for 10 minutes and the day of my surgery Overall everything went well but I would have liked things a lot better had we had conversations about what was happening. I got most of my important information from a coworker who had been thru a similar procedure Also feel like we could have moved this a bit more quickly. I spent 3 1/2 months dealing with a catheter and extremely sore and uncomfortable My coworker's urologist had his procedure done in 10 days - feel like it was dragged out longer than expected

I went here for a follow-up appointment after going to the ER…read more Dr. Rauch was absolutely wonderful and the rest of the staff was very friendly, helpful, and compassionate. Dr. Rauch and West Ga. Urology will be my first call for help in this area of medicine. The procedure was performed in such a way that it was as comfortable as it could possibly be. It did hurt a bit, but, needles and scalpels used within the scope of a Urologist probably isn't EVER going to be all sunshine and rainbows. Some of the reviews posted give low ratings due to things that are outside of the reasonable control of the staff i.e. "it was painful so I gave them 1 star"........pretty stupid and useless review. Also, if you don't know if you need a Proctologist, Urologist, or a Gynecologist to address your personal needs........we have "Google" to tell us what each of those professions handle. Google is free and readily available pretty much everywhere. If you don't have your own way to Google something, pretty much anyone will do it for you. If technology isn't quite your thing, which if you are reading this then you'll manage, regular ol' dictionaries or World Book encyclopedias are also your friend. Urological visits are logically less fun than a day at the beach, fishing, playing with your dog, having drinks with friends, skydiving, swimming with dolphins, watching the miracle of the Galapogos Green Sea Turtles hatching and finding their way to the cool ocean waters, hiking the trails of the Easter Islands and meandering amongst the monolithic Moai while you reflect on all of the possibilities of their creation, and bacon. Would you give the oceans a 1 star review because salt water burns in your eyes? NO, even the dumbest among us would not. So people, please read through the idiocy in most of the low ratings and when you DO decide to leave a review, make it a useful and pertinent review that exhibits at least a minimal amount of thought and intelligence when read by the general public.

I was a pt of over 20 years of Dr. Oso and had an encounter with him that was so unprofessional…read more Dr. Oso went off what one of his staff said and I'm sure she said it in a tone where he yelled and berated me. I advised him that this was unprofessional and unacceptable and walked out only for him to ask for me to give the sample he gave me back, to go pick up my meds he prescribed to find out his office canceled them, and to delay my records to the new PCP I started seeing to further delay me getting my medication for over two months. I will never recommend him or his staff to anyone, not even my worst enemy and report him to the GA board of medicine. People complained of him on reviews but because I never encountered this side of him until 08/2025, now I understand why he has no recent reviews under 6 years that speak highly of him or his staff.
