What a beautiful Gallery! Filled with heart felt pieces of art. Jordanne is so talented. We arrived very shortly after the Lahaina fires. We visited the gallery and fell in love with a piece that we just had to have. We also purchased a book of her paintings called Lahaina Spirit in which a percentage of both would be donated to some of the victims. The book wasn't finished yet but we received it not very long afterwards. It is now our coffee table book. She was so accommodating and definitely did her best working with us. After ordering one of her amazing books showcasing her talent and the beauty of Maui/Hawaii. Like all of us, Jordanne is a busy person. You may or may not catch her at the gallery. My friend and I were walking around Makawao and saw the sign that she was in so we popped in to take a look. She has prints of her work and original canvases for sale. Beach scenes, simple but elegant pineapples, people, waterfalls, and buildings from various spots around the island. Jordanne had a painting drying on an easel and was going through some paintings after having a consultation on-site. We chatted about how her vocation allows her flexibility in her schedule and she let us know about special pricing on the prints. read more

We popped into Jordanne's studio part way through our Maui visit. She was in and painting as we entered and told us to feel free to ask questions. We wandered around looking her work, left for a bit to discuss, and then returned after exploring a little more of Makawao by foot. On our second visit the same day, we did ask more about her work and purchased a piece to remind us of our daily views from the lanai in Kihei toward the West Maui Mountains. She spent time talking with us about her experience, how she works, and a bit about her family. She has many beautiful pieces, so it was difficult to pick one to have shipped home. I believe I also saw some prints of her work as well if an oil painting isn't what you're looking for take home. It's probably challenging to be actively engaged in a creative pursuit and also talking with potential customers, so I appreciated the opportunity to meet Jordanne. My family and I have a lovely memory our experience in her studio/gallery. Just a quick aside: Makawao and the Upcountry area is a great place to drive up and visit for the day/afternoon when you're ready from a break from the beach and for some cooler temperatures and different vistas, shops, galleries, and eateries. read more

Value: 4 stars Quality: 6 stars Ambiance: 5 stars I am frankly baffled by the reviews complaining about rudeness. I visited recently and had a wonderful time perusing her pieces; she was incredibly warm and friendly. I only regret that I am not currently in the market for one of her paintings, as they are beautiful and extremely high quality. I considered buying some coasters which were also adorable, and are a great option for those who love her art but don't have the display space (or budget) to take home one of her pieces. I highly recommend visiting her studio if you are in Makawao! read more

This review is long overdue. My husband and I bought a painting from Jordanne in 2019. We absolutely love it! It took us a while to decide which painting we wanted and Jordanne was so helpful and patient. The painting was framed and then delivered to our home in California in perfect condition. We are on Maui at least once a year and always drop in to the gallery. Always kindly greeted and welcomed. read more

I've visited Jordanne at her studio multiple times over the last couple of years. On my recent trip to Maui I was finally able to take home an original painting! It's such a pleasure to view Jordanne's work in her studio and it's a treat to see her working on a painting. During Covid, you do need to arrange a time to visit her studio but she was really prompt to respond when I asked. Some reviewers seem grumpy that Jordanne wasn't very chatty (I don't agree!), but just remember that she makes her living as a painter and while I'm sure she's happy to chat, she does actually have work to do too! I will definitely be back on my next trip to Maui! read more
