It's operated much like an AirBnb, as guests are provided with their own keys and the hostess is not on site all the time. The hostess was very gracious! The accommodations, while retro, were quite nice - our bed was more comfortable than the bed we had the night before in a premium hotel chain. Coffee service, snacks, and a local phone are provided in a shared lounge. Central heat/air was perfect, and our shower was amazing - very hot and high pressure! We would definitely stay here again.

I'm used to hotels having a welcoming smell, but this one was very stale/old smelling. We get to our room and it gets worse. The room wreaks of bleach. It was so bad that it burned my eyes. There was also a slight smell of vomit so I'm not sure what happened in the room or if they just love cleaning with bleach. It was also a handicap room. The clothes rod was so low that our shirts hit the bottom. We had to find an another place to hang them. The clothes hooks were so low that our jackets dragged the floor. The towel holder in the bathroom was coming loose from the wall. Didn't wanna touch it much as we worried it would fall. And don't even get me started on the extremely messy paint job!!! The shower curtain was so high it only came to my knees. So everyone raved about their breakfast (mainly why I booked here). It was not good! The sausage was spongy. The biscuits were dry. The waffle batter was watered down so much that they were terrible. It's one of the worst I've had. Needless to say, we won't be staying there again. Hoping our stay was a one-off. So close to the marina and our event we went up there for. The was a slight mixup with our reservations at their 2nd location so she arranged for us to stay at Lakeside. The thoughtful touches in our suite were numerous! Wether it was a sound machine, NetFlix on the television or board games on the shelf everything seemed to be carefully planned and followed through. This building in 1986 was once a grocery store & barroom. Then the Obey River Inn opened in 1996. Rachel & Alex bought it in 2020 and personally did the majority of the renovations! Currently it has 11 rooms that are all filled with wonderful touches like the ones I have mentioned above. It is a MUST Stay!

You have to turn onto this little street that takes you to it. Other than that, the location was convenient to lots of restaurants and things and we enjoyed the pool. The pool was a bit small, and 3 ft deep at one end and 5 feet deep at the other, but it was inside, which was nice. There's towels you can use at the pool so you dont have to bring one from your room. Also, the parking lot was a bit wonky - dont know why its laid out the way it is. Overall though, I would recommend this place and would stay here again.
