I got veneers years ago because of an enamel issue caused by Invisalign and a previous dental tooth whitening combined. Unusual yes. But not a vanity issue. This office's use of a frozen wand to identify teeth sensitivity should be qualified as a torture device. No pain medicine given. No warning about pain. Then the actual root canal. I was told to take two pain/anxiety relief medications and bring one for the procedure. I asked for the extra medication during the procedure and was told, "I don't think you need it." My referring dentist will be told in full about this office. Horrible experience overall.

He made me cry and called the cops on me for crying in his office. This was one of the worst days of my life. My tooth is still broken, and my root is still infected. But I am so traumatized that I would rather deal with the pain than try to fix my tooth. Dr. Carman and the rest of that office set me back years. They belittled me. I can't begin to describe how awful they made me feel. Dr. Carman is an awful, awful human being. I'm forever affected, for the worse, by what he did and said to me.

After that, Dr. Carmen said that my anxiety was annoying him, and that it was my fault that I was not sedated-- despite me following the procedure given to me at the pharmacy. So yeah, it could've gone better. I called later that afternoon to apologize. Everyone else who works there is truly a gem. Everyone there, except for Dr. Carmen, was understanding of my condition and was patient with me. This place could be a great place to have work done. Maybe I was just unlucky and caught Dr. Carmen on a bad day. Maybe give this place a chance. Last year he treated me when I fractured my fibula & this year I broke my leg in three places while on vacation and had to have emergency surgery in St. Lucia! Upon my arrival back to the states, he came and saw me in the hospital because I could not get to his office. He told me the surgeon had done a wonderful job (thank goodness!) & I would be going to a rehabilitation facility for a couple of weeks, Home therapy after that & that is what I am still doing. He has seen me each month since the break (May) & always explains everything to me so it is easy to understand. The office staff is very efficient and I usually don't have to wait too long-they don't overbook appointments so you are not sitting there waiting forever-that's a real plus! I hope you never have to go, but if you do, I highly recommend this practice.

I loveeee Dr. Warner. I suggest him to all of our friends. He's been my sons doctor for 3 years…read more(he's 4) and is my daughters doctor (4 months). However I wouldn't suggest them anymore. I just had an issue and had to change an appointment time for my 4 month olds 4 month appointment. The receptionist told me she couldn't get her in until October. I don't know how they would expect to just skip a 4 month appointment and vaccines. The receptionist seemed nonchalant about it. I understand he is booked but that seemed wild to me, and there is no cancellation list. I honestly asked if we needed to move somewhere else because I can't go to a ped that can't see my kids, and she responded "well that's up to you". So we will be scheduling and moving some place else. If they can't fit her In for vaccines I'm not sure what they would do if she was ill. So unfortunate because Dr. Warner is an excellent doctor and has been so helpful and understanding.

Dr. Kindred has provided the single best care experience I've encountered in any medical or…read morepsychiatric practice--personally or professionally. As a PsyD and clinical psychologist, I have referred virtually every patient in recovery with psychiatric needs exclusively to Kindred Recovery since meeting him nearly two years ago, and will continue to do so without hesitation. In Eastern Kentucky, where quality psychiatric care for people in recovery is critically scarce, Kindred Recovery functions as something genuinely rare: a gold-standard practice that is also deeply human. That his practice serves primarily Medicaid patients makes this all the more remarkable--this level of care is typically the exclusive province of those with means, and Dr. Kindred has chosen to make it available to those who need it most. He does not run the 15-minute, revolving-door appointments that have come to define so much of modern psychiatry. He spends as much time as each patient needs, remembers details from previous visits, and follows up on them--not as a technique, but as a natural expression of authentic investment. I have seen him come in on closed days, and even on holidays, to ensure a patient in urgent need could be seen and receive the medication sustaining their recovery. For a population this vulnerable, that kind of care is not incidental--it can be lifesaving. His clinical approach is equally rigorous. He bases prescribing decisions on empirical evidence and his own carefully tracked clinical experience--not pharmaceutical incentives--and he takes time to explain the reasoning behind every recommendation: how a medication works, what the research supports, and what discontinuation would biochemically mean. This transparency is clinically significant; informed patients adhere to treatment. It also communicates respect. Finally, Dr. Kindred's integrity is not performed. It reads as fully internalized--inseparable from who he is as a person and a physician. I cannot recommend Kindred Recovery highly enough.
