All he did was grind off & ruin a new Wilson Beavertail grip safety. Additionally, he said the slide stop was broken & returned the broken pieces when I picked it up....damn sure wasn't broken when I assembled it before taking it to him. If you're in the market for an AR, he might be the one to see, but obviously knows little to nothing about 1911s. 1 star is too good based on my experience.

He listened to my request, helped me understand a better way to go about the work, outlined what he would do and how. We then talked about the most cost effective process. Cause he is able to work, not answer the phone from a bunch of guys who want to yakkity yak, and are not standing there with work to drop off, or money and ready to pick up. Very time efficient. FYI I've only been there twice thus far…read more TLDR Good service, knowledgeable, not pushy. Went in after researching what I wanted. I only planned on getting a price, but they got me bro. The offer was too good. Maybe it was the friendly staff, maybe it was the K9 employee. (it MIGHT let you pet it). They were patient and knowledgeable. I can be a bit much and ask seemingly stupid questions. The background check took a bit (not their fault) and I only made 2 errors on my spelling which they helped me fix without issue. They snuck away and mounted the optic without me getting a chance to ask. I suspect they kissed it gently goodbye given the care I saw them take. A lovely older woman brought a firearm in to clean and an old BB gun that wasn't working. They couldn't fix it , but they did recognize the value of the BB gun based on its age and condition. I didn't have time to checkout their range on this visit, but I do plan on it.

I had to call to get an update about it, and they had it done about another week later. The Cerakote came out ok but it looks like they applied it over the serial numbers then ground it back. The serial by the cylinder is completely unreadable. The serial number on the butt of the revolver still readable but now I have to remove the grips in order to see it, where before the serial was visible when you opened the cylinder. I didn't take the gun back because I have to way to prove it wasn't like that before. I don't know about the rest of their services but I can't recommend the Cerakote service.

I was visiting from Texas and waned to shoot. I found this range and talked to the very pleasant…read moreowners who explained Saturday's is for non-members. (I think memberships are around $100 annually but not positive) We showed up, got a professional overview, paid our $10 each, and were escorted to the pistol range. The owner balanced his professional advice with letting us do our thing- a respectful but safety conscious approach. The pistol range has two benches and about six target stands (holding two paper targets each) and the owner helps control the firing groups. The rifle range has three stations with access to 25, 50 and 2x 100yd targets. This was a lot busier with folks but there are benches to sit on. Again, the owners help manage flow, monitor safety, and provide advice. I was very pleasantly surprised by my visit, and we didn't even try the apparently famous food that is also served, or use the paintball course (with what looks like a lot of rental supplies available), and a variety of ammo and gunsmith service options Thanks, I'll visit again on a future visit.
