From the beginning, the staff has been nothing but kind, friendly, and helpful. There were times that they went out of their way for me to feel helped. I am really so grateful for that because they have helped me turn my house into a home. They are absolutely exquisite and a little bit exclusive, but hey, that's PG for you. :) I feel absolutely honored that I was able to work with this company. I want to give a shout out to Marshall, the property manager I work with, because of his diligence, intelligence, and fine manners. He was so easy to work with and he made dealing with all the issues I was having less difficult and stressful because of his swift response and helpfulness. I am so grateful for him. I would definitely check this place out if you're looking to rent in PG. If you're here, you're totally royalty- and that's facts. Also, an additional shout out to Jan who was always patient with me when I couldn't stop calling about issues with moving in procedures, deposits, and bank statements. :)

I called because of a posting on Zillow that had this property management company as the listing agency. When I got through to someone they were polite to begin with and when I mentioned the property's address they said "it's already rented." I relayed that Zillow reflected it was still available in an attempt to help them. Their response was "Zillow is not reliable" and that I should use their website, which I was already on. I informed them that their own website reflected that this property was still available for rent. At this point I was abruptly interrupted and told that they had another important call and wanted to put me hold. Disparaging another website for being unreliable while your own website reflects the same information is ridiculous to say the least. I would recommend this company get their act together.

    Absolutely unacceptable experience…read more Pacific Grove Rentals canceled my confirmed reservation twice, both times claiming a "pricing error." Not once, but twice. At that point, it stops feeling like a mistake and starts feeling like a complete disregard for customers and their travel plans. I had already invested time planning my trip and relied on the reservation being honored. Instead, I was left scrambling to find alternative accommodations while rates elsewhere had increased. A confirmation should mean something. Apparently, with Pacific Grove Rentals, it doesn't. What is most concerning is the lack of accountability. Rather than standing behind a confirmed booking and making the situation right, the reservation was simply canceled, leaving me to deal with the consequences. That is not how a reputable vacation rental company operates. The entire experience felt unprofessional, unreliable, and incredibly frustrating. If you value your vacation plans and don't want to risk having your reservation canceled after you've already made arrangements, I would strongly recommend booking with a different company. A company's true character is revealed when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, Pacific Grove Rentals failed that test completely.

We lived in this house (510…read moreCarmel Av in Pacific Grove) for $4,500 per month for over two years and they kept a large chunk of our deposit, despite the place being cluttered with lots of dirty items from previous renters. Every morning, you could hear the neighbor coughing at 5am, so we slept poorly. None of tvs worked, but then they blamed us for it--not a 20th century smart tv. If you don't want to lose your deposit and do want to get good sleep, do not stay here. I am writing to formally dispute the $1,430 deduction from my security deposit for cleaning services, including carpets and windows. Under California Civil Code §1950.5, landlords may only deduct for cleaning necessary to return the unit to the condition it was in at move-in, excluding normal wear and tear. After two years of tenancy, standard carpet wear and light dust are to be expected. Unless there was damage or extreme filth -- which I contest -- these cleaning charges appear excessive and unjustified.

In 2013, my wife and I…read moredecided to stop renting and look for an investment property/home we could own and raise our boys. I don't recall how we chose Annette at that time, as she was working for a real estate company. However, I do remember that Annette was very responsive and helpful during our first home purchase. She provided honest "bottom line up front" facts on what we needed to purchase the property. In fact, she was very knowledgeable about VA loans and the detailed requirements--extremely helpful. Fast forward twelve years later: We determined that a move was more beneficial to us. We asked each other who we should contact to represent our home sale, and we unanimously said: "Annette Boggs". Why--because she knew us, knew the details of our previous purchase, she knows the area, she has excellent integrity and honesty, and impeccable work practices. We contacted her a year before we actually decided to sell, thereby gathering a better feel for what we need to do to help her sell the property. Annette performed a site visit at our home, and we realized that she branched off and developed her own company, which was very exciting. Annette gave us clear and honest guidance on what we would need to do for preparation. A year later, we contacted Annette again to let her know that we were ready to sell the property, and she immediately scheduled another site visit to go over the details. Annette came with her staff and explained exactly what we needed to do to prepare. Annette explained that she would professionally have the windows and house cleaned. Moreover, she provided professional photography and staging of the home. Our house looked brand new when she was ready to advertise. In addition, her 24/7 communication concerning all updates and new news was on spot perfect. Because of her "Above and Beyond" approach, we were able to not only purchase but sell our property with seamless results. Did Annette Boggs meet her motto: Above and Beyond"?
