She came back and said that I grabbed the gold box (that was right next to this brand and not the one on sale, the sale boxes were on the other side of the sign and full price boxes) She stated I grabbed the non-sale bacon and nothing she could do for me. I just had an unfortunate experience trying to get 1/2 of a butchered hog. Apparently we needed to…read moresend in our cut sheet before they butchered our pig. We sent it in the day after. They said they told our friend who raises the pig that any pig w/o a cut sheet gets the standard butchering. We were not told this and I'm checking with my friend to see if she remembers this. The situation could have been easily solved with a swap of ham for unseasoned pork. I was told I was missing a piece of ham when I showed up to swap. I live 30 minutes away and they told me they would not do anything unless I produced the missing ham piece. So that would have been 3 round trips total (each an hour). Apparently they have enough customers. No give, no negotiation. So due to a mixup I have 40lb of ham I won't use, and none of the ground unseasoned pork I was hoping for. The person I talked with gave me the distinct impression she thought I was trying to con her. I was just trying to find a win/win that would keep me as a customer. Sad it worked out this way.
