I discovered that unauthorized communication, or "cross-talk," was occurring between providers without proper consent. As a client, I found this to be a direct violation of HIPAA and a significant breach of trust. Confidentiality is the foundation of the therapeutic relationship, and having my private clinical information shared behind my back was unethical and deeply distressing. Due to these concerns regarding professional conduct and the mishandling of sensitive information, I have had to terminate all services with this office. They also don't have an onsite receptionist to handle these issues. Vey disappointing experience and complete waste of time. This was the location in Lynbrook not sure about other locations but this was very frustrating.
