Dr. Xu is an outstanding, thorough, caring and patient podiatrist. I came in with foot pain. Those of us who have been to podiatrist before, we are told certain options before a diagnosis is even available. They tell you to either 1. Get a cortisone shot 2. Purchase customized orthotics (usually out of pocket) or 3. Go straight to Physical Therapy. Dr. Xu did not do this. He listened patiently to my concerns. He performed various tests to pinpoint the origin of the pain. He then informed me that x-rays were needed to be done to provide additional details. Meanwhile, a prescription to handle the pain was given. Follow-up was in a week. X-rays were done shortly and after 2 days, I felt normal. I could do all the normal activities prior to the pain and contemplated NOT even showing up for the one week follow-up. I'm glad I did. The x-rays did provide additional information which Dr. Xu showed me on his computer. He offered different diagrams and models so I had multiple opportunities to understand my issues. He was able to pinpoint and provide solutions. I had multiple follow-up questions to his findings and he patiently answered every one of my questions. I left the office knowing what I had to do to maintain good foot health and I know this doctor is going to be my go-to podiatrist moving forward. This must also be said. The receptionist named Doris is outstanding. She is quick, caring and calm in working the phones while tending to the patients in the waiting room.

A few months ago, I had a severe and unexpected emergency with my foot that came out of nowhere. Dr. Shapiro and his incredible staff did everything they could, with very little notice, to schedule me, help treat me, and follow up with me. In particular, Dr. Shapiro went to great lengths to ensure I was taken care of and that I found the right treatment. I was incredibly worried and anxious throughout this time, but he and his colleagues helped to keep me calm and make the situation bearable. Some other basics: The office is clean, the staff is competent, and there is ample parking around the back. All in all, a fantastic practice.

He is efficient, fast and has a great personality. I just went again to see him for an ingrown toenail. I was terrified...but in literally 15 minutes - I was walking out of there as if nothing happened. I took off the bandage 24 hours later and it looks as if nothing happened to my toe. Stephanie is also wonderful as well as the ladies at the front desk. I honestly would not go anywhere else and recommend him every chance I get to my friends and family.

He said everything was healing fine. 2 days ago my uncle fell and was extremely weak. He would complain about his toe for weeks and the doctor kept saying it was healing well. Well he's in the ER with a bad infection that was going to his bone. Now they are deciding if he can keep his toe. Thanks so much Dr. Oh and to add he told me my uncle must of banged is toe. Dr. Miranda has awesome beside manner. He explained everything in an understandable manner. He gave great recommendations based on my issue. I will be continuing to see Dr.Miranda. I truly can not speak highly enough about Dr. Cheskis! he was professional, didn't make me feel rushed, made me feel heard but best of all resolved my foot pain. i am very scared of shots, very!!! when Dr. Cheskis recommended a quick injection, i refused. He explain that he could prescribe medication, but it would not be as effective. Dr. Cheskis actually helped me get over my fears, clearly explained everything I would feel & was compassionate & kind. I felt better within an hour! and was very proud of myself that i got the injection. but i can sincerely say i couldn't do it without his support. Even my kids were shocked I agreed to the injection. I highly recommend the practice & Dr. Cheski! I barely waiting to see the doctor and the little I waited I was very comfortable.
