The massage therapists are wonderful; however, I had a terrible overall experience when I brought my car accident case to Dr. Schwartz. I regret blindly following his advice even when my gut told me otherwise. I really wish I would have gotten a second and third opinion. Instead, two years and a massive headache later, the entire ordeal has left a horrible, horrible taste in my mouth. This is the first chiropractor I've seen in LA and I'd highly recommend Dr.Schwartz! He is very genuine, caring for each individual and making sure their situation is resolved. As a first time patient I was impressed by his thoroughness. While he keeps patients rotating through his sense of detail is impeccable. He remembered specific details about my first visit and asked me about them on the second visit. I also noticed he has a lot of regulars...always a good sign. His practice is very thorough & consistent and he provided me with relief and benchmarks for how often to revisit. been going now for a good couple months because of my chronic shoulder/back/carpal tunnel pain which i've had for (over 10) years.. something that comes with my "unique" job that i have, sitting on my ass and using mouse & keyboard for 10 hours a day.. i understood from the getgo that this will take a long time to get fixin' but initially only wanted to get by with just a few visits. hadn't expected to pay hundreds of dollars out of my pocket to get my back fixed, at least that's not the usual expectations you have when you're visiting a chiropractor, right? i have an hmo and they don't cover shit, so i decided to pay out of my pocket and it was started to weigh on me. i told the doc exactly that, and he was kind enough to work with me on that. here i am, after more than 10 or so sessions, still going.. aside from all the massages and back-crackin', the dude's just pleasant to work with. read more

FIVE STARS hands down! I had been injured a few months ago, so badly that I could not move my left arm or breathe in without sharp pains running down my back and around through the front of my chest! I thought I would never be able to be active again. Several people from my work (Skechers Corporate) recommended Dr. Schwartz and they had nothing but amazing things to say about him. I called and they took me THAT DAY, actually they saw me 10 mins after I called! They even treated me the next day on Saturday as well. Since going to him, I have actually met even more people even outside my workplace who have also been healed by him. Everywhere I go, it seems like someone has come to him and been satisfied with the outcome. After only a couple visits I was already feeling good. Now, a month later I am so happy. I have no pain anymore. Here are some highlights: 1. He is always upbeat - which is contagious, so if you have a cloud of gloom over you he can definitely help resolve that while helping with your spinal health. 2. His approach is gentle yet effective - He makes sure I know that I am safe and that his adjustments are about to happen and that my treatment is progressing and I can feel the difference, it's been painless and I can tell I am standing taller and straighter and my back is not tied up with knots anymore. 3. I started out seeing him 3 times per week which I HIGHLY recommend, because it keeps you on track, now that I am healed from my pain and discomfort I am down to 2 times a week but I think I am going to miss going 3 times! 4. The massages - THEY'RE AWESOME! I have probably had every massage therapist on site (there's at least 6, probably more) and you rotate so you get to experience so many different styles (hot stone, deep, gentle and soothing, you name it) which is also good for your body, because you are always getting a new type of massage technique so no spots are missed. REMEMBER TO TIP!! 5. It's FAST! I am in and out in 40 min with my 30 min massage and my 10 min adjustment and muscle stimulation. That's perfect for a lunch break or for me it's great to come at 8am (they can see you as early as 7:30 I think) before work. 6. They text/call to remind you of your appt. Which I definitely need! I was watching UFC Unleashed on Spike... having a great time, relaxing, etc. Then I feel like eating fruit, so I cut up a mango, watermelon, cantelope strawberries, spread some salt, a tab of lemon and Presto! When I get back to the TV, my wife had usurped the remote control and changed the channel to HGTV! Aaaarrrgh! I finished my fruit and sat down, my mind took a few detours off the TV due to the show being so BORING! And I started falling asleep. I nodded my head up one or twice, then went out for a second and jerked my head up. SNAP! Perhaps it was my posture, bad neck position, or muscle tension - but I snapped my neck! Bad... I had some pain, but I figured that a good nights rest would alleviate everything. The next day was worse, I had neck pain, back left shoulder pain, forearm pain, numbness in the fingers and weakness in the arm! I barely made it thru the next three days at work. Each time I would use my arm - I felt pain. My wife suggested seeing a Chiropractor. I said no way, those crooks wont help this. But I gave in and reluctantly made an appointment with Dr. Schwartz. Scheduling the appointment was easy. He actually took time to discuss my issue on the phone. I (embarassingly) told him how I injured myself. So I stagger to his office like an old man. He tests my movement, applies some pressure to different areas of my neck and shoulder. He (painfully) pinpointed the area where I was injured and informed me of a sprained muscle on my back & neck. His suggested treatment was a deep tissue massage and spinal adjustment. So I was placed face down on the table and given the massage from Hell! This girls fingers felt like an industrial press smashing my back ribs. She was nice, and went light on the areas of my injury, but had no mercy on the other areas. I can't say I enjoyed the massage, but I have to admit that when I got up - I actually felt better! I could tell that my muscles were much more relaxed. Next came an adjustment session with Dr. Jon Schwartz. He truly is a crack master! He cracked practically every vertebrae on my back and adjusted my neck. He gave me advice on how to home-treat my injury and was an extremely nice guy. I got back in my car and noticed that I had a small bit of shoulder pain still, but many other other symptoms were gone! That relief, alone, was worth all the pain that I endured. In summary, I would recommend seeing Dr. Schwartz for any injuries you may have. He is professional, has a great staff, and knows how to identify and treat your issues. He is experienced and cares about his patients. Parking is good, his location is easy to find, and I am healed! What more can I say!?!? Go see him today! read more

I have had reoccurring migraines ever since starting my new job, which comes with a considerable commute. I was getting headaches every day without fail and I finally had enough. After two visits here they went away, and with weekly appointments for two months I haven't had a single headache since my first visits! Life changing isn't a strong enough phrase. The Good: - Dr. Schwartz is extremely friendly and personable, always greeting every client by name (and often endearing nicknames) as they walk into the door. - The massage therapists are fabulous, each one with a different style i've yet to pick a 'regular' - Whether you need an appointment for the same day or the following week Dr. Schwartz can accommodate and get you in at the time that works best for you (he is also extremely understanding about cancelations and appointment changes) - Rarely a wait once you get there, juggling multiple patients at a time looks like a breeze at this office. I visited Dr Schwartz after learning that my massage therapist had joined his practice. I gave Dr Schwartz details of my back injury and explained that I did not want any high velocity adjustments due to my specific condition. I feel that I could not have been more clear about this. When I allowed him to work on me I was under the impression that he would not violently adjust me but rather place me in position for an easy stretch. What I received was a boiler plate adjustment including a high velocity rotational adjustment. I thought I was clear with him but apparently I was not adamant enough. His cookie cutter approach to my condition set me back three years and I am in constant pain again and unable to to enjoy any of the activities that I used to do. When he called me to setup another appointment I explained to him what had happened and during our conversation about my grave results of his treatment he placed me on hold three times because he does not have a front office administrator to handle his phones. Dr Schwartz said that he will not do high velocity adjusting on me again and tried to setup another appointment for me. He lost my trust by contradicting my request and therefore I will not be seeing him again. Dr Schwartz may very well be a great chiropractor but he is spread too thin. He is taking appointments and answering phones and being interrupted. Even in the middle of my first treatment he had to walk out so he could handle other issues of his practice. A healer cannot use his or her skills effectively in an environment like that. From my perspective he has lost sight of his oath to place the patient above all else and is too busy chasing more and more business. But he does appear to have a booming business, which includes a full waiting room of patients mostly getting stretch therapy from his staff of massage therapists. read more

About five months ago I found myself with a really intense knot/pull in my back for several days straight. Without a chiropractor in the area I found myself blindly calling around to see who was available and willing to help on short notice. I'm thankful that I found Dr. Schwartz! Dr. Schwartz knows his business and believes in service - he took me on a Saturday when I was in pain despite the fact that I did not have an appointment. He investigated the situation, gave an adjustment that helped considerably, recommended exercises to help the problem and even recommended different shoes to help keep the problem from recurring. Dr. Schwartz is amazing! I have been to a lot of therapists for my neck pain and he delivers the best chiropractic adjustment I have ever had. I have tried everything, including deep tissue massage, acupressure, neuro muscular technique, acupuncture, physical therapy and nothing worked. I still had the kink in my neck. I didn't need my muscles anatomically reconfigured with a bunch of ridiculous fluff, or a large woman standing on my neck and needles just seemed like time and torture. What I needed was a good chiropractor to simply adjust my neck. Whalla! Kink gone! He does what no one else was able to do. This guy has skilled hands. He is kind and caring and really made me feel comfortable. He always makes time to see me even when his office is swamped he still gives 110% of his genuine care. For me, Dr. Jon Schwartz is truly the man to see. Thanks Doc for always taking care of me and my family. I have to say that this guy is so old school.
