My three daughters have been seeing Dr. Sayed since my oldest daughter was 3 years old, meaning 22 years. Although my daughter thinks it's time for an adult dentist, I told her to stay with Dr. Sayed as long as he will let her because good dentists are hard to find. Dr. Sayed has taken very good care of my girls and has not over charged us and never told us we needed services we have not needed. I trust VERY few people, but I do trust him. Another way to tell is he has a low turn over rate in his staff. I feel very blessed my girls have received such good care. If you are looking for someone you can trust I highly recommend Dr. Sayed. Dr. Sayed, Thank you for the many years you've taken care of my girls. This review is long overdue. read more

I've been taking both my daughters here for years and have always had a great experience. They love the treasure chest!

I no longer bring my kids to this office. However, I do believe Dr. Sayed is a Great doctor, and has a great staff! Sadly, they lost my two kids over pricing. I pay cash for dentistry and my kids don't have cavities. At the time my children were 2.5 yrs and 1 year old. My son had only 6 teeth at the time. His exam cleaning and fluoride was $208! I walked out of the office that day having paid over $400!!!! Just allow people to continue to pay the "new patient" pricing. There is no need to bait and switch. The new patient pricing is reasonable and that is why you gained us in the first place. This kind of practice is exactly why we have a healthcare problem in this country. You shouldn't have to PAY big dollars to get a great doctor and services. I did e-mail the office regarding this matter and I wasn't pleased with the response I got from them. I wasn't asking for free services by any means, but the pricing was just unreasonable. read more

My 3 & 5 year old boys have been coming to Dr. Sayed for two years and get so excited to come here. Tatyana at the front desk is one of the nicest women we know. She even offers me coffee every time! The waiting room has toys, Netflix, and Wii video games with three separate monitors. The technicians are so fun and so great with kids! My three year old even got X-rays for the first time today! There are ceiling mounted monitors above the exam chairs to keep the kids busy while they get their teeth cleaned. My kids will be coming here until they get married! read more

I can't say enough about Dr Sayed and his staff. I am truly blessed to have found them. My 4 year old daughter needed a lot of work done, and with her usually being a bit cautious and restless I was stressed about how she would do. Dr Sayed and his assistant Anna were wonderful and were so patient , kind , and caring to us and while working on daughter. From the moment she walked in she felt comfortable and at ease, and me too! Dr Sayed also always checks up on her later on in the day which I truly appreciate!!! read more

DDS Sayed, It's unbelievable that none of my three children fear going to the dentist. I especially want to thank you again for the recent work you did on my son (filling cavities - quite a few of them). It was very generous, kind and much APPRECIATED. Also, I am smiling with confidence! Thanks to you! I'm so pleased with the way you recreated my front tooth. It looks perfect. Most sincerely, B Russell read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr Jon's office! The staff is so wonderful and friendly! I wish I could be a patient here. My son was so scared to go to the dentist and would cry when we told him we had to go. After bringing him to Dr Jon's office, he talks about it constantly and can't wait to go back. All the staff know exactly how to work with him and talk to him so that he feels like he's at home. He loves all the girls there and gives endless hugs. I highly recommend this office to anyone who has kids. You won't be disappointed!!! read more

Very kind dentist who takes his time and really cares. Oh and my kids actually enjoy their visit. I wish they saw adults too! I'd go to him in a heartbeat! read more

Dr. Sayed is the best pediatric dentist in Orange County! He is calm, easy to talk to, and will explain what needs to be done in detail. My daughters have seen him for the last 6 years. He is gentle and only does things that are necessary. He explains what needs to be done and doesn't try and up-sell anything. After procedures like crowns or fillings, he always sends a personal text to check on your kids and make sure they're doing ok. When my daughter had a minor issue with a tooth while we were on vacation, he called me back immediately, and even had me send him pics for him to examine, so he could better help me. This was a live saver and relieved me of my worry. The office is amazing, as kids can watch Netflix, and there are TV's on the ceiling for each patient's chair. Of course, each kid gets to pick a prize at the end of an appointment. The office staff is also super friendly. I LOVE Tatiana. She is so sweet and even brought my husband and I coffee in real mugs when my daughter had a lot of work to be done years ago. All of the dental assistants are sweet and friendly with kids and easy to talk to. They are all like family! read more

I was apprehensive trying a new dentist. My son is autistic and visiting the dentist is extremely difficult for him. Dr. Sayed and his entire team worked very hard to ensure they made me and my boy feel comfortable. They didn't try and add additional work that wasn't necessary, they were very good about explaining everything. We will be happy to return for my sons next appointment. read more

Starting taking my girls to see Dr Jon approximately 18 years ago. I feel he's always been pricey but his specialty is pediatric dentistry, so stayed. My daughter went in a month ago for a routine cleaning and they took X-rays. She was told she needed 4 fillings. Wait, what? I took her to my dentist. Sent her X-rays to him. She didn't need any fillings. Also, the dentist asked her when her last cleaning was and she told him 3 weeks ago. He was surprised due to the amount of buildup already. This was very disappointing, to say the least. Good-bye Mr Greedy. Hello So Cal Smiles. read more

Really like it here. We've been here for about 6 years. It's really good for kids because the rooms are really kid friendly but also the staff are really understanding and happy. My kid was actually excited to go to the dentist!!! read more

I find it very interesting that Dr. Sayad took over 10 months to respond and then edited his response after a week or so. I also find it interesting that his "excuse" for pushing to pull my sons teeth was because he was not brushing well. There was not any comment made by Dr. Sayad about my son not brushing well (he has yet to exer have a cavity). And why in the world should a parent have to ask about the reasons for a procedure, shouldn't a good doctor explain why they want to give your child nitrous and pull two teeth? Dr. Sayad said they would cause misalignment and would not fall out on their own before the adult teeth grew in. Regarding the sealants, of course it is not the office's responsibility if insurance did not pay for sealants but it was their responsibility when they told me "yes we called your insurance and the sealants are covered". Then they billed me for the full cost. Stay away from this office. Dr. Sayad said he is a well respected Dr. In the community, that is nice. I'm a well respected attorney in the community. read more

We just went to Dr Sayed for the first time today. We have been going to a pediatric dentist for about 4 years in Irvine in the past, but we moved to Mission Viejo and I finally decided to try someone new. Our experience at this office was amazing. The office decor is very kid friendly and there are plenty of toys, puzzles and pencils for the kids to amuse themselves with while you wait. Not that we waited very long. We went in for our consultation and cleanings within 10 mins of our appointment time. We also noticed two TV areas in the waiting area, one that had a Wii attached to it for older kids to play video games. I have a 4.5 year old boy and an almost 2 year old boy. Dr Sayed was able to see them concurrently. As I assisted Dr. Sayed with my 2 year old, my 4.5 year old was being cleaned and having x-rays done in another chair in the same room. I felt as though we had the complete attention of the dental nurses and the dentist himself as soon as we stepped into the room. This made things so much easier for me having two young children who are afraid of the dentist to navigate the appointments on my own! Boys are always moving so these appointments can be quite daunting for me on my own. Dr Sayed also observed that my eldest has enlarged tonsils and asked me a little about his sleep habits suggesting that we may want to see an ENT specialist. This was no surprise to me as I have been asked about his tonsils before by a few general pediatricians and he quite frequently has sore throats. It was such a pleasant experience. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for an excellent pediatric dentist in the area, don't look any further! Update: We have now been to this office for two cleanings (two boys under 5) and a couple of visits for an injury. Every encounter I have had with the front desk (Tatyana is amazing), dental hygienists and dentist has been so calm, informative and an overall great experience. I used to be very anxious taking my kids to see the dentist for fear of how my kids would cope with it and handling the two of them on my own when they are frightened. This does not happen here. If either of my kids are feeling nervous, we have the full attention of their staff, my kids are at ease and it is very easy for me to manage. My husband and I do our best to take good care of our kids teeth. We still brush for them (after letting them have a go at it themselves) and floss regularly, limit juice and other sugars. We have not yet had a cavity with either of the kids. It has not been our experience at all that this office performs unnecessary work. A couple of weeks ago, my youngest fell and hit his two front teeth on the pavement, chipping one and loosening them both. I called the office and they fit me in to see the dentist within the hour. Tatyana was a great source of comfort when I called to ask whether I could bring him in and when we were at the office. It has been a very stressful start to our day. We were reassured that everything would be OK and given a clear plan on what to avoid and what he could eat, what could possibly happen such as an infection and how often we would need to return for x-rays from the outset. There is nothing worse as a Mother than having your kid bleed all over you and not be able to get them in somewhere to be looked at. I forgot to ask about the pacifier my Son still used for sleeping when I was at the office and when I realized, I called from home and was put through to Dr.Sayed to talk about it immediately. Highly recommend. read more

We have been taking our daughter to Dr. Sayed since she was 2 years old and after a tragic accident that occured when she fell onto a concrete bench in the park...the staff took us in immediately and was beyond friendly and welcoming! They were able to save her teeth and made her feel at ease completely. We have since taken her for ALL dental appointments; checkups, sealant and even a major treatment. They have been so patient, kind and thorough...I recommend them to all my Mom & Dad friends. The new facility is gorgeous and so fun for kids with all the video games, TV's and colorful, whimsical interior. Just what you want to see for young ones who may be apprehensive. read more

Wow!!!! Dr. Sayed and his staff are absolutely wonderful. We came in for both my daughter's first dentist visit last week. The office is so fun and clean, very inviting to all customers. Dr. Sayed and his RDA really put all their attention on the patient's in the chair. They made it so comfortable for my girls, we got to be with them the whole time. Both my daughters like going to the "dentist" now because of the great experience they had with Dr. Sayed and his staff. I had a problem with my financial responsibility and Dr. Sayed was more than helpful with coming up with a solution for my bill. Needless to say this office is a great office for your children oral needs. Thank you Dr. Sayed and Staff. read more

This is the best dentist I have ever been too. They are so kind and gentle. Both my daughter and I use Dr. Sayed. The staff is fabulous!

Dr. Sayed is the best! We have been seeing him for over two years. Between my three kids, we've had extractions, cavities, sealants, and regular cleanings. Each time we walk away feeling so cared for and that we've received excellent dentistry. He is extremely detailed and explains all treatment plans well. The rest of the staff is amazing too! The dental assistants are wonderful with xrays and making my kids feel safe in their office. I also appreciate how the front office staff is always so welcoming and efficient at getting us in and out in a timely manner. Overall, an excellent dental office and I wish I had found them sooner! read more

Absolutely love Dr Sayed and his staff. Especially Tatiyana. They are honest, reasonable and make you feel at ease. Now that we have found him we will not go anywhere else. He is caring and gentle. My kids first visit with Dr. Sayed and staff was this week and I was blown away. If there was ever a pediatric dental office that caters directly to kids, this is it! The decor is over-the-top cute! Each room is themed and all have multiple activities. Everything was clean and I felt comfortable letting my kids wander between rooms without any issue. The staff was professional and kind and their attention to detail show they love working with kids. When in the exam room they give the kids sun glasses (instead of medical-type goggles) to shield their eyes - too cute :) and there are TVs on the ceiling for them to watch while they are getting their teeth cleaned. When the visit was done, the kids got an item from the toy chest, a toothbrush...and a balloon! The whole experience was so wonderful - we have found our dentist :) read more

We have seen Dr Sayed for 7 years. Grandson needed oral surgery at very early age. Everything went extremely well. He is now 9 and we continue seeing Dr Sayed. Wonderful office and staff. Very kid friendly. Not scary at all. We now see his brother for orthodontic work. Very convenient to be able to go to same office. My 2 younger grandsons are receiving care here as well. They are comfortable and not fearful at all. All have had extremely positive experiences. Can not recommend this office highly enough!! read more

I was absolutely impressed with this dentist, as well, as the assistants and office itself. I researched several pediatric dentists, before choosing Dr. Sayed. He came highly, re commended, but one needs to see them self. I'm an ex preschool teacher, nanny, and personal assistant. I've seen my share of different types of pediatric care. I'm very picky and a pretty good judge of what's good and what's excellent. My daughter, now 4, had been to other dentists. She refused to merely open her mouth. She's very intelligent, controlling, and stubborn. That doesn't make for an easy dental visit! Everything had changed when we went to Dr. Sayed's office. All his employees are kid friendly. The office is amazing! There's murals, interactive rooms, and engaging discovery for children all around. The office has a comfortable feeling for children and adults alike. My daughter had no problem with the examination, x-rays, cleaning, etc. She was telling me about it the whole way home. We unfortunately didn't floss, well enough, between those molars! She did have 2 cavities. I did my research on whether to fix baby teeth or not. Absolutely is the answer. I didn't know how they would manage it, but they did. They kept her calm, during the procedure and managed to do the fillings without any trouble. AMAZING!!! This goes without say...you'll be impressed with Dr. Sayed! Dr. Jon Sayed and his staff are very pleasant to be around and provide a good experience to all patients. They are all very thoughtful and understanding. They take time to explain and the office is a very pleasant place to be. There is an vibe of happiness and relaxation, not the normal tension most dental offices have. I would highly recommend Dr. Jon Say and his staff to anyone looking for quality dental treatment. They have the patients best interest in mind. read more

We went to Dr. Sayed after having a difficult experience at our prior dentist. Our son is a bit fearful of dentists and needed a bit of special handling. Dr. Sayed' was very thorough and did a great job of being patient with my son. The professionalism and kindness of the personnel make you want to go there. No one really "likes" going to the dentist, I would imagine, and probably the dentists themselves would rather be golfing. But seriously, if you need down-to-earth, approachable and compassionate dentist who nonetheless is the epitome of professionalism look no further. read more

After my daughter turned 8, this dentist no longer took our insurance, and billed us for the full amount of service regardless. We were not made aware of this change in policy. They subsequently called us 1 year later to ask us why our daughter had not been to their dentist and if we'd switched dentists. I told them the circumstances, and that we had switched dentists, and then the receptionist hung up on me. Great customer service, right? read more

I've been taking both of my children to Dr. Sayed since he moved into the new office in RSM. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his staff. I grew up going to a family practice dentist, whom my siblings refer to as Dr. Death! lol. He is unkind, no bedside manner, and very rough. He and DA never explained procedures and constantly caused me pain/uncomfort during cleanings and visits. 20+ years later I am still frightened of the dentist. Needless to say, The second I met Dr. Sayed and his staff and saw his office, I knew that my kids would love coming here, and THEY DO! Dr. Sayed is so nice, so gentle with my children! They look forward to going to the dentist now, which is a really big deal for me. They take the extra time to show my kids that the instruments and tools that they use wont hurt them one bit, and I appreciate that. His bedside manner is fabulous, and his follow up on visits and info is uncanny. The staff from front to back are accommodating and friendly as can be. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist, look no further, Dr. sayed is AWESOME! Just wait til you and your kids see the office! BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, MODERN! Great place! 5 STARS! read more
