Funny thing is, I was a patient at Dr. Marashi's office before he ever entered the doors. He joined Dr. Golden's practice, slowly integrating his way in; always friendly with a smile on his face. I'm not the most trusting person in the world, so that instantly put me on my guard - but he did win me over pretty quickly when he insisted on taking a parking ticket off my hands. Then - he most likely saved me from a serious medical episode when he identified a serious infection from a tooth x-ray and sent me to a specialist (Dr. Bustamante deserves his own review). Since it's been established that he's a nice guy; a downright gentleman, but he's a kickass skateboarder to boot!!! Going to the now unrecognizable office, the memorabilia spread throughout the offices are worth the visit alone! The staff and the quality of treatment and latest dental techniques is what keeps me coming back And then there's Michaela, my dental hygienist who keeps me from having to get major procedures done. My review for Dr. Marashi comes with great joy! My dental journey is a long one, as I had my front teeth done three times prior due to a number of reasons, and by the time I was done, they were much bigger and bulkier than I wanted/wished. Dr. Marashi took a very thorough look at the function of my entire mouth and bite, rather than just the cosmetic look of my teeth. He then created a game plan and put the ball in my court to move forward with treatment. This year, I was finally able to take time in my schedule to move forward with treatment. For years, I have wanted my teeth to be the right size and look natural. Throughout the entire process, I genuinely felt cared for and listened to. Dr. Marashi walked me through each step of the way, allowing for understanding of what was to come and no surprises. Each appointment, he would take the time to make sure I was both comfortable and satisfied with the next step before moving forward. This included a period where you wear temporary veneers for 2 weeks to ensure the shape and feel are what you're looking for before anything is made final. Then, once the crowns/veneers are finalized, he even does what he calls the 'final dress fitting,' where he places all of them in your teeth for you to look at in different lighting before they are permanently bonded. While I already trusted Dr. Marashi to do amazing work for my smile, letting me have final approval on everything in my mouth before anything was made permanent gave me extra confidence in the outcome. His entire team, from his associate Dr. Vince to the administrative and clinical staff, all had a hand in that same care. After having multiple sets of veneers i entrusted Dr Marashi to do a full mouth restoration with veneers. He totally seemed very capable and focused during my treatments. He promised me that my permanents would be three shades brighter and whiter than my temps. I was very happy with the temps . When I returned from FL he began the process of adhering the final restorations in place. I took a bathroom break and saw myself in the mirror about half way through .I was and am super disappointed in the color. I told him I was unhappy with the color and he asked me to stand in front of a large glass window with the sun very bright holding up a mirror as he exclaimed "Look how white they are" I have since learned that often times Dentists use this to convince patients their veneers are actually whiter than they really are 1000 percent deception. I spoke with him letting him know how unhappy I am . He offered to have me come back in the office and that his staff would contact me. Never happened.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM . After returning to LA, after a year on the east coast, I called to make an appt to resume my dental needs with the very smart/talented Dr. Marashi. The combative, truth-twisting receptionist claims that I skipped out on an appt from September, 2023 (!), a date in which I didn't even live in LA. And had the nerve to say I owed $500 for this magical missed appt (more on that below). The last time I called - in August, 2023 - was to address a bad front tooth chip and they said they couldn't see me for weeks for this emergency. I never would have agreed to that, beyond ridiculous. So they'd rather steal $500 from me than have me as a regular patient for life. Cool. Good work everyone. read more

Dr. Marashi is an excellent dentist...if you can actually get in. I went regularly with no issues until the scam hit and after that it has been a complete nightmare. Constantly rescheduling with no accommodations for it. They called today to cancel my appointment for next week (April 5) and couldn't get me in again until July 5th! I actually have a filling that I believe needs to be replaced and I was looking forward to having it looked at next week but I guess that is unimportant to everyone who repeatedly calls off and asks to have their day rebooked. I'm not sure what the issue is but perhaps forcing experimental medication on the staff for no reason wasn't the best idea (I saw that scam a mile away). Apologies for the long review but I hope it is worth your time if you are on the fence. First let me say that I have sat in dentist chairs since I was 3 or 4 years old in the '60's and I don't think until now, I really knew what a great dentist is (and I have used a lot!). Let me say if I could give 10 stars to Dr. Marashi, I would. I have wanted to get my teeth done (veneers and crowns) for several years but was always afraid to pursue it and talked myself out of it - too much to spend on myself, what if it doesn't work, yada yada. I had cracked teeth (and didn't know it) and could survive in a desert with the stuff that got stuck in my teeth. I had a total mish mash of work done by different dentists over my lifetime. I was referred to Dr. Marashi from another health professional and am I ever glad I met with him. I live in the Newport Beach area, the mecca of cosmetic procedures. I trekked up to Brentwood to have my consult thinking it would just be a consult, and immediately felt like if there was anybody who was going to do my teeth - THIS was the guy. FULL STOP, I saw no one else. I would describe Dr. Marashi as an "Old Soul", a big kid and a ball of energy all wrapped into one package. But the reality is that he is a committed professional with an infectious enthusiasm for what he does - and not pushy. What he does is he change people's lives by giving them a beautiful smile. You can look at all of the pictures on Instagram and see the results of his work, but what you don't see is the incredible amount of commitment, precision , experience and knowledge that it takes to do this procedure. I had 21 of 28 of my teeth done. After my first long appointment, I reflected on the number of procedural steps that could go wrong if steps were skipped or sloppily done (and there are a lot) or better yet, if my dentist didn't accept complete perfection on what I would have to live with for the rest of my life. I knew that I had made the right decision after that first long day. Dr. Marashi's staff is amazing, his office is fun and friendly and the whole team is totally committed to complete satisfaction and perfection - it's like a fine tuned orchestra or like the impressive eclectic sound tracks he plays of all his patients music. You don't know me, but I am a single professional who knows excellence when I see it. If you are sitting on the fence, or trying to figure out who to go with, you will be so glad you chose Dr. Marashi. I cried when it was all done and the last thing any of my friends would ever describe me as would be a "cryer". I was facetiming anybody who would answer to show them my beautiful new smile. I don't know who was happier with the outcome - me or Dr. Marashi. I'm loyal to my dentists. In fact, I saw my last dentist religiously for almost 30 years. A few years ago I decided to switch to Dr. Marashi, thinking that it might be time for a change. What I first noticed when I walked into the office was the type of service his team of professionals deliver. They greeted me by name, with a smile and offered me coffee, tea or water. The waiting room also features mobile phone charging stations, but you won't need them as I've never waited more than 60 seconds after sitting down. One of Dr. Marashi's dental professionals will greet you and guide you to your room and stay with you until Dr. Marashi arrives. On my first appointment, he provided one of the most thorough dental exams I've ever been exposed to. He let me know that he's interested in getting a baseline assessment for my bite, jaw, cheek muscles and teeth. I was used to a dentist who solely checked for cracks and cavities. My primary goal was to find a doctor who could safely remove mercury fillings and after listening to his process and procedure, I decided to move forward. The procedure went smoothly and while it wasn't fun, it accomplished my primary goal of protecting my long-term health while removing a toxic substance from my body. I went to see Dr. Marashi to fix a few poorly constructed fillings and gap between two molars. My regular dentist told me my tooth was cracked and needed a crown. But since the X-ray didn't show any crack I sought a second opinion from Dr. Marashi. From start to finish, Dr. Marashi evaluated my case with impeccable detail and thorough diagnostics. He said all I needed was to have my fillings redone. In addition, he assessed my bite and TMJ dysfunction. With utmost precision in one visit, he was able to fix the way my teeth fit together so that my jaw isn't constantly under pressure.
