Parking does tend to be difficult during lunch hours and especially during dinner hours. The service is fast and friendly enough. It also helps that Seattle's Best Coffee is located just right next to it, which greatly helps complement the atmosphere of the place. So my eyes were hungrier than my stomach was like how it usually is and I got fresh lumpia, Kare Kare, ukoy, and rice. Fresh lumpia had a lot of fresh vegetables. But the Kare Kare was hardly peanut buttery. And the ukoy was limp when it should've been crunchy. They also forgot to give me vinegar with the ukoy.

I liked that the buns were buttered & toasted. The beef patty had a tendency to start falling apart, but I've noticed this with all the burgers I've had here in the Philippines - not sure why this is. The onion rings were super sulit & the serving size was generous enough to have an onion ring with every bite which I loved. I tried some of my friend's sweet potato fries which I also enjoyed, but I think the ones at Charlie's are better. When we went for lunch, all the seats were taken, but a spot for us opened up soon after we ordered. We got our food fast & left with our burger craving satisfied.

The sesame balls barely had any red bean inside, probably a smidgen of red bean. The halo-halo was decent. I like that there's a small size and a large size because most places just serve 1 large size. The kangkong (water spinach) was the best thing from that meal probably because it was the most fresh thing they have. Everything else is comprised of carbs, meat, and sodium. Stick with their desserts and vegetables.

But let me tell you now that I have had too much history with this Jollibee branch to let this opportunity go. You see Jollibee's face twinkling in the distance, and you've found your answer. This branch of Jollibee is open 24 hours and is home to many sleepless college students since ever. Their 2nd floor, in particular, becomes zombie land when it's nearing finals. There are students shamelessly passed out on the couches come 2AM, some with their make shift pillows and jackets-turned blankets. Their 2nd floor also has a smoking area where you can bum off friendly strangers for a stick or two. If you bring an extension cord with many, many outlets, you'll be the hero of the night. I've seen many sunrises on the second floor of this Jollibee, always giving me renewed hope when I'm sleep deprived, on the edge and this close to breaking down. (They sometimes start serving breakfast as early as 1AM, so go for that longganisa breakfast meal with coffee to power you through the night.)
