Today he textured our guest room that had old wall paper on top of cheap panelling. It feels like it is, a room in a new home. It is beautiful! And will be lovely after it's painted. I personally didn't know how I was going to improve this tired old room till Ron suggested the Texture! What a great idea! This is why I bring Ron out to the house when I'm not sure what or how something can be fixed. He always has an idea and solution. That always saves me in the long run financially. Here are a few other projects & repairs Ron has done out here.. He built us a medium Back Deck to replace the 3 single steps, leading to the backyard. He rebuilt a pair of stairs and rails coming off my deck at either end. He replaced the ceiling in our Walk In Closet! He built us, beautiful Stone & Concrete Stairs going from the lower yard to the upper yard! He replaced a wall on our dinning room. He's replaced doors, including the front door and gifted us a lovely Glass Screen Door. Ron put a new Roof on our home, along with helping our neighbors finish their Roof, on their Shop! When the Bomb Cyclone took out our Awning off the Shop and a complete Exterior Section of our home, he repaired them (1/3/23)... He built us hugh open/close doors on our shop. I know I am forgetting more projects/repairs, as I contact Ron whenever I need a job done.. Why? Because I know I can trust him 100%. He is Honest, Fast, Reliable and stands behind the Quality of his Work and his Word! I don't know if my review will do Ron the justice and recognition he deserves for the decades of Quality Work he has given to myself and his other customers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LAMINATE VINYL FLOORING INSTALLATIONS!!…read more THIS IS THE TEXT I SENT TO CONVERSE FLOORING: Hello Laurie, this is Greg DeBré and I just wanted to let you know what was going on with our flooring. We are replacing all the flooring you installed 5 years ago, which we discussed. Here is what we have learned so far as we completed the bedroom yesterday: 1. There were NO major dips or uneven areas in the concrete which is what your installer claimed to be the cause of our issues. 2. There was NO vapor barrier installed as is required on all installations over concrete slab subfloors. 3. There were NO expansion gaps as is required by all flooring manufacturers for laminate flooring installations. In other words, everything that could have been done incorrectly was exactly that; an extremely faulty and poor installation. I will update you on the livingroom replacement when it is completed next week. I expect to find the same outcome there. The installation Converse provided was terrible and caused all the damage we incurred. As you refused to take any responsibility or even to come look at the problems, there has no way I was going to allow your company to do any further work in our house. This is a shame because your work installing our carpet upstairs and HD linoleum in our laundry room was excellent. Converse should not be selling and installing vinyl plank flooring as that is not something you do successfully. I've informed the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (OCCB) which unfortunately will not follow up as your installation was over 1 year ago, which is their time limit. They did inform me that I have 6 years to take legal if I choose to do so. We were trying to avoid any type of litigation but your actions have made us rethink that position.

There was a hole in the wood and he didn't fix it, he left a raised lip by the door which is a hazard- easy to trip on when walking out of the room, he left some really bad scars and discoloration on the floor, and it wasn't cost effective to do two floors. The living room floor was done well, but really upset about the office floor. I would hire Jason, but not Mike.

So I got an estimate from Mike Jr and decided to go with him. Well trying to make a long story short, my floors turned out blotchy (which I told him so) and strange lines here and there. He offered no help. I'm assuming he left the color on longer in certain areas from trying to do too large an area at a time. And he left a pretty big gouge in my kitchen area with a piece of wood (splinter) sticking up so it catches on things. But I think the worst part is the stain he got on pretty much every wall in my house and on my white tile floors. I might have to repaint an entire wall because I'm not sure I have to color to do touch ups. I'll try to attach some pics. Also stain on my dishwasher (that won't come out), stain on a coffee table, stain on a white chair, stain on kitchen cabinets and I keep finding stain. I didn't know stain would stick to so many surfaces. He also left a big bag of garbage in my front yard in front of my house for 3 days. And do not expect any type of communication. He was at my house the first day for close to 11 hours, which would have been fine except I had no idea he would be there until 7:15 at night which might explain the stain everywhere due to rushing and it being close to dark and he was probable tired. If do decide to go with this company be sure to cover every inch of your house. There's also dust every where. I'm not sure why they tell people it's not very dusty. Dust is literally everywhere.
