The electrician was easy to reach, but the company was so busy that it did take a while to get an appointment. But no more than a week. The fact that they are busy says they're good. The service plan sounds awesome in theory but... The company came over at least a half a dozen times to try to problem solve an issue with my HVAC system. The HVAC system was about 6 years old and still under warranty. Again, the technicians were all extremely polite and seemed somewhat knowledgeable. After trying several fairly cost effective options they narrowed it down to the blower motor. They priced The replacement of the blower motor at $1,500. I felt that that was a little high as the standard rate was between $300 and 1,500. I called around to get some estimates. I found another local company here in Kansas City that gave me a price of $600. I called Corum to discuss why there was such a variance in the price quote for the job. The office manager that does the billing nor the manager of the facility wanted to talk to me. I understand that you have to pay for these technicians to go on site, evaluate and do their job, but don't say that you are going to have a service plan with no cost and then Jack up the price on the back end. Management refusing to talk to me about their billing practices was all I needed to know. After all is said and done, we got the new blower motor, a rerouted drip line, a new motherboard and a fresh warranty for well under $1,000.
