It is located on the grounds of the Johnston Elementary School, which is certainly an interesting place for a Confederate monument. A simply obelisk with the dates, crossed rifles, "Our Confederate Dead" on one side, and on the back, "Love of God and love of country are the two noblest passions in the human heart. A man without a country is an exile in the world and a man without God is an orphan in eternity."
The monument is in good condition though it could use some sandblasting or such to remove the stains and such.
There is parking along the street if you'd like to stop. I was here for something else when I spotted it.
