First off all, the gem prices are fine. I'm here to gripe about coins. The coin counter had a variety of cull nickels and Indian Head Cents, which any reasonable store would sell for two to four bucks each. This store had IHCs for 10-15. It was selling Bicentennial Dollars for $5, when $2 is normal market price. The biggest thing though is a 1957-B in uncirculated condition. This is typically a 10-12 dollar banknote. The store was selling it for ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Unless I'm missing something, this is a massive scam. Dollar bills from a few years ago selling for $25? No THANK YOU. DO NOT BUY COINS HERE. read more

Large selection of collectibles coins. I was mostly interested in the gems and rare local items. The customer service was great. Even though there appeared to be a lot of "looky lou's" the staff acknowledged every customer walking in. Those buying and those thinking it was a museum to touch everyone. All aside the store had a large variety of gems and rare stone. I wish I took more photos but since there was valuable collectibles and some antiques. I felt that would be inappropriate. read more

This shop seems little but has so much inside! An excellent collection of unique gems at many price points. I saw some stuff I'd never seen before (coral calcite is so cool looking!) and went home with a decent chunk of petrified wood to add to my book case. We showed up with a large crew- 11 including 2 rambunctious kids and they were very accommodating and understanding of the kids high energy around the cases. I look forward to coming back with more money in my wallet so I can get some of the really neat stuff. read more

I am sad with how my ring sizing turned out. The gold has a hole in it now. This is an engagement ring and I felt rushed and that they didn't care about how the ring came out or how the customers felt about it. The shop is cool but I did pay $70 for my ring to get resized and damaged. I feel it was a mistake to get my ring sized here. I would not trust this place with valuable jewelry. Sorry for the bad review I just am very sad about the work... I was really hopeful this would be a good place to get it sized. I would have appreciated some better communication too, or just a sorry that it was damaged but instead I was rushed out of the shop because the woman manning the shop said she needed to go to a party... maybe they were rushing me to make sure I left before I noticed the new indent hole.... read more

We stopped here after visiting the ghost town of Burke nearby. The employees were super incredibly knowledgeable, kind and helpful. This place has some cool ore from current and past mines. It was a great place for our family to stop by and they were super nice to the kids too. Don't forget to check out the glow room with the kids, it's pretty cool. read more
