He said it wasn't worth spending the money to top up the pressure if it worked as is. I paid 124. And was not refunded. Never will suggest this place. The other lady working at the counter was really nice. To respond to her I had to pay full price. 120. I have a picture on my statement that it was $124 that I paid she did not credit me half the amount that's another lie and I asked her that day if a technician was going to come out and talk to me she said no only if something is wrong with it then they will come out and talk to you. Very shady, I would steer clear from this business because now they're saying something wrong when she told me while I was there everything was fine and the alignment was fine. Too bad that we have businesses like this that treat customers like this just because they don't have the patience to answer questions in person, and then lie and make fake claims to cover their butts. I was just inspected a few months ago in RI - have always brought my car to the dealer for all servicing and have followed the recommended schedule from Subaru and have done every suggested item my dealer has suggested. I was just at the dealer for 4 new tires (recommended) a wheel alignment, and oil service. I'm assuming the inspection will be a lay-up. Not so fast. The expertise here noted some movement in the rear right suspension - and for $750 they'd be happy to fix it. Having just had the car looked at - and no such problem noted - I opted to go back to my dealer with what they folks at VIP cited. I asked them to fix if there was a problem. My dealer called me and said - we don't mind fixing something that is broke - but you don't have any problems with your rear right suspension. I asked that to be put in writing - they said no problem. I called VIP and informed them. They asked to see it in writing and then I would be issued my inspection sticker. I had to schedule a new appointment fot this meeting - and when I arrived - lo and behold - my Subaru authorized dealer's written word was not acceptable. I had an authorized Subaru dealer with certified subaru mechanics review the car. They stated in writing that the car met all Subaru requirements and there was no excessive wear in any of the suspension. I presented this paper to them. Nope, not good enough - they know better. They imply in words and actions that they know Subaru standards better than a subaru dealer and their certified mechanics. They suggest I find another dealer - a not so nice man in beard just about threatened me and stormed off when I stated they went back on their word. Well - I am opting for a different place to complete the inspection. I will never, ever, ever recommend this place to anyone. In fact - I will go out of my way to share this experience with anyone and everyone. You can't fix dumb - and then toss in stubborn and ignorant. Best of luck to anyone who goes to this place.

While on my way from Maine to Niagra, my camper had a tire blow out on a small road with no cell phone service. Although I had the spare put on in Southern NH by roadside service, I wasn't comfortable driving at high speeds all the way to NH on a spare. I decided to return home and camp in North Conway. Searching the internet for a place to buy a tire, I found Frechette's Tire Repair on Passaconaway Road in Conway, NH. Very please and impressed with this family owned business. Even though it's a bit out of the way, it's a well established business and family owned and managed by a friendly staff who have been there for years. The son came out to inspect the spare and check my tires and noted that the camper tires were virtually bald. A surprise to me since I had only owned the camper for a few years. Made in China he said, probably. Within 45 minutes of my arrival, I had two new tires put on with a flat bottom and good tread and the spare returned to the bottom of the camper. I couldn't have asked for better. Frechettes exceeded my expectations for quality, friendliness and service. Much is to be said for frequenting family owned businesses rather than the chain on the main road. Thanks so much for making my trip enjoyable on two nice tires. Price was reasonable and I felt the establishment was honest and fair.

If you go for a ball joint, they will sell you control arms. They will say, it will be impossible to do the job without the upgrade. They prefer to use their source for parts because they make upwards of 30% on that brand. Lastly, they will charge you $50 for 2 rags and 1.00 worth of break fluid. My advise, go somewhere else for the same price.
