Lots of mistakes in his paperwork and he failed to address imperritive issues in the suit. I don't think he really understands the law, the fact that he passed the bar is amazing. He is a good salesman but overpromises and way way way underdelivers on the promise. Don't use him, 3 hours cost me $3,000. He is the epitome of SHYSTER.

this firm was so unprofessional The only thing that they were quick to do was take you money …read more communicating with them was just impossible as you have to set up phone call appointments through a text service to scheduled a phone call and then they were always canceled or postponed on their end. If you hire these attorneys, be prepared to only see them five minutes prior to court dates. I could not in good faith recommend them for any kind of criminal case. If the client is incarcerated They , will not set up visitation to offer any type of council and will make up excuses for not doing so they only showed five minutes prior to the court hearing, You may also be waiting over five months to receive your discovery sheet after sending someone else's if you receive the proper one and not someone else's be prepared to attend your preliminary without the discovery and like I said, they are so unprofessional when it comes to communicating, and evidence on the case, that I had myself to retrieve from the police department also two other separate occasions, left me with concerns if they were even working my case. I had to ask several times if they are still representing my client, when asked simple questions on the case, they failed to answer at one point, just shrugged their shoulders and avoided the question seemed as if they haven't read the case at all. they did not set any motions even after requesting, and don't try to get any forms or documentation on what they are doing for the case. They have been on the case over a year and still couldn't provide missing evidence simple police reports. Asking how it pertains to your case, ? they set up one video visitation and did not provide anything that would help the defense when one did show up from the firm they stated I am not familiar with your case. I am just instructed to deliver you pictures. Also be firm on who you are hiring they tend to send their associates or secretary , someone within the firm . We were under the impression that we were hiring Chris Dexter, but he did not show for court. He sent a Brixton R. Hakes . Even after requesting for Chris, only Brixton appeared. Be prepared for unprofessional derogatory comments, "quoted " you sing like a Canary , and such an 80's ways of doing things , ...,, also if you pay them a flat rate fee, they will request that you fire them before you even reached the trial The only evidence they were able to collect was instructed whom to give it to I believe intentionally gave it to the wrong person. If working with Dexter And Dexter be very careful they will look you straight in the eye and show you their meaning to lawyers are liars , also they will show you how attentive they are when it comes to collecting your funds

If your Divorce involves high financial stakes, personal exposure, or complex lending, steer…read morecompletely clear of Marilyn Brown / Moody Brown Law. I retained her while navigating a $5.8M commercial loan guarantee that is roughly $1.7M underwater. From day one, her representation was defined by dreadfully slow, evasive, and inefficient communication--dragging out simple issues and running up billable hours while offering zero strategic clarity. But the real danger wasn't just the wasted money; it was her shocking incompetence. Right up until the day before she dropped me, she was steering me to sign a quitclaim deed. I had to be the one to educate my own lawyer on basic real estate and banking reality: signing a quitclaim deed surrenders my title and ownership rights while leaving me 100% personally on the hook for millions in debt. At the same time, she flatly refused to address my questions regarding my rights, risk mitigation, and compensation as the guarantor carrying all the downside. The moment she realized I saw through her terrible advice and held her feet to the fire, she acted offended, played dumb, and abruptly terminated representation. I anticipate the firm's standard, sterile response to this review, so let me dismantle it right now: * Do not let her hide behind "client confidentiality" to avoid the facts. Privilege belongs to the client, and I am putting the facts on the table. She hides behind silence because her advice is indefensible. * Do not let her spin raw incompetence as "delivering hard truths." Handing away property rights while remaining personally liable on an underwater note isn't a "hard truth"--it is malpractice-level advice. * Do not let her claim she was merely "exploring options." That reckless quitclaim deed was the only strategy she put on the table. * Do not let her dress up cowardly abandonment as an "ethical duty to withdraw." She didn't withdraw over an "ethical breakdown in communication"--she panicked, cut, and ran the second she got caught giving disastrous advice to a client who knew better. When millions of dollars are on the line, you need a sharp, accountable advocate. Marilyn Brown burned my money, pushed a catastrophic strategy, and ran for the nearest hole the second she was exposed.

Neil Skousen saw that there was a false statement on the affidavit of probable cause made by Sgt…read more Steven Cragun of the Ephraim police department. Neil contacted the county attorney, got the county attorney to order my immediate release on my own recognizance (OR) and also negotiated that I did not need to pay any bail. The false statement was one of the reasons why it was originally decided to keep me in jail without being able to bail out. It was Neil Skousen that saw the false statement and brought it to the attention of the county attorney. The county attorney falsely claimed they saw it first but after further investigation that was not the case. It was tortuous being in jail for 23 hours. As I said law enforcement was trying to keep me in jail for at least a week without being able to bail out based on easily provable false allegations which the police did not apply any scrutiny to and and also based on the false statements that the police made on their reports and affidavit of probable cause. I was praying all Thursday night and Friday morning and afternoon. I talked to my wife on the phone on Friday afternoon and she said she had a good feeling after talking to Neil Skousen. Later on in Friday afternoon I felt like this time God was going to answer my prayer and I prayed again "in the name of Jesus Christ, I command the powers of darkness to disperse and that I can get out of jail." Then within 2 hours I got a knock on my cell door and was told I was being released. I then heard the law enforcement officers that work at Sanpete County Jail say 3 times, "THIS NEVER HAPPENS" in reference to me being released in the manner that I was released. Neil also told my wife that we didn't have to hire him if we didn't want to and he was happy to help me get out of jail and we didn't have to pay him for what we did. Of course we hired him but I wanted to make a point he didn't do it just to get paid, he did it primarily to help us whether he got paid or not. Then Neil was instrumental in getting the charge DISMISSED with PREJUDICE and closing the case. Thank you for your help Neil Skousen.
