It was full of weeds and my garden areas were not flattering at all. Donnie came out and I told him in a broad sense what I wanted and he came up with some design ideas and a lot of structural things that I had no idea about. They planted new sod, new shrubs (hydranga's, azelias, bamboo (for a natural privacy fence) and some other stuff I don't know what it is but complements everything very well. They also put in stone borders and a paver stone pathway to my back deck. Anyway, it has been a month since his team came out and laid the sod, put in plants, etc in my garden areas and have completely renovated my lawn. My house now has unbelievable curb appeal! His guys were professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. He also followed up with me on the care of the plants and sod to ensure it's health. Their prices were fair (even cheap in my opinion for how things turned out!) for what they did and I can not recommend them highly enough.

The grass looked great for a couple weeks but then I noticed some areas that were getting matted and starting to look bare or were constantly saturated. He came back by to give me an estimate for our front yard and take a look at what was going on in the backyard. That was the last of consistent communication. It took 3wks to get the estimate for the front yard. By that time the back had even more bare muddy patches. I have reached out numerous times via phone, text, and social media and have been completely ghosted by Julian. We spent thousands of dollars to try to create a nice play area for our son, and now we are going to have to spend thousands more to basically redo everything because these guys don't have the integrity to actually take care of their clients. Pay the extra money to somebody else who stands behind their work to do the job right the first time. This is what working with Spartan has gotten us - a muddy unusable backyard

They then proceeded to unload the truck and proceed. I was just looking out for the safety of their truck and the drivers in that area. (60$) I kept up w the service because the quality was often good. Today if was terrible. The lawn guy Dee took his time with the front, and rushed through the back. There were patches of grass mulch everywhere and pushed up against the house. Edges not trimmed, weeds neglected from obvious areas of growth ( along the fence, behind the a/c units) When I tried to point out that I was not pleased and asked him to come back he made excuses, told me he wasn't going to fix it, showed me a flyer of a company that could fix my weeds, and basically let me know I had to deal with the horrible backyard. I paid half the rate since he really only did half the yard.. I told him to remove me from the route and no longer needed his services, his reply is "sounds good to me" Long story short. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The professionalism is not there. This guy knows that his work was deplorable today, yet instead of apologizing and trying to come fix the issue he chose to get offended and then offend me the customer who once had customer loyalty. I was so relieved when Metro Atlanta showed up and did an awesome job for a great price! The biweekly lawn service includes more than any other service I have signed up for - edging, mowing, bush trimming, and bagging sticks, etc. as needed. I have been using them for over 2 months and they have provided consistently excellent service. Not only do they show up when they say they will, but they also communicate with me regularly by sending emails or texts to check in on how things are going. I was able to meet Marian, the owner, to get a quote on some landscaping projects we have in mind and she was kind and helpful. When I spoke with the owner and questioned the price, she went on at length about rising gas costs and the challenges of running a business. In the end, I paid over $350 just to have my front and back lawn cut and some leaves blown, and the quality of work didn't justify the cost. Kids in my neighborhood charge less than $100 and leave it looking better than these guys did. When I raised my concerns, they completely stopped responding. Overall, the service was overpriced and mediocre. They know the work they did does not match what they charged me. And when I said something, they went ghost. No way I'd use them again.
