They make everything from scratch, but I was not able to have any of the desserts since they were all made with soy flour, but they went above and beyond, helping me choose a lunch and checking ingredient information for everything. They were so incredibly kind and patient and did not make me feel like a burden at all by asking questions. I ended up going with the grilled ham cheese and tomato sandwich on ciabatta with a cheddar cheese, and they give you a few choices for sides. I went with the orange slices and I also picked up a cup of coffee - their chocolate hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar. They even came back a few minutes later because they saw I had a peanut allergy and just wanted to make sure that hazelnut was safe for me as well. They were so sweet. Every person there was really accommodating and when I first walked in, they were helping a customer choose a cake for their daughter's birthday, which seemed to be taking a while, but they were patient and kind with her as well. This is a family owned operation and they really put their heart and soul and everything. The spot itself is just tucked into a shopping center and the interior is cozy and cute. They have a wide variety of desserts and pastries, along with sandwiches, breakfast options and drinks. Everything smelled and looked amazing. I wish I had been able to try a dessert, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area that is able to eat their desserts. Their cakes looked so good. I really enjoyed my sandwich. It was so filling and had a really good flavor! The tomato just made the ham pop and the orange slices were really refreshing. I walked into Jamie Bakes just after lunchtime and found the small bakery stocked with cases full of baked goods ready to go. From cakes to cookies and everything in between--Jamie most definitely Bakes. After a few minutes of browsing, I landed on the only decision that truly made sense: a Birthday Cake Stuffed Cookie complete with rainbow sprinkles. I mean...it was my birthday, after all. This thing was MASSIVE--big, round, and stacked tall with stuffing, frosting, and festive sprinkles like it understood the assignment. I'm pretty sure Jamie Bakes these specifically for birthdays like mine. Thanks, Jamie. $5.99 later, I was walking out with my birthday treat safely packaged in a to-go box and a spontaneous birthday picnic plan forming in my head. I found my spot, added a little "Happy Birthday" pick to the top (because we're committing to the moment), snapped a few photos, and dug in. And let me tell you--Jamie didn't just bake, Jamie delivered! The cookie was fantastic! Moist, chewy, and perfectly soft--no dry, crumbly nonsense here. The stuffed center had that cake-pop-like texture and flavor that made every bite feel extra indulgent. And the frosting with the rainbow sprinkles? Sweet, but not overwhelmingly sugary--just the right balance. My only complaint? That Jamie Bakes over two hours away from my house, because I would absolutely be making this a regular stop if it were closer. This is the kind of place that makes it very easy to justify "just one more" treat. Also worth noting--their hours are surprisingly generous for a bakery, which makes it easy to swing by when most bakeries would be closed. Jamie really said, "I'll be here when you need me," and I respect that. All in all, Jamie Bakes gave me the perfect birthday dessert moment. We had a great time. Dana and her mom are AMAZING. They are fun and attentive and encouraging. Dana does a great job of teaching how to make staircases out of cheese, and salami flowers. At this point I feel like most of us have gone to Aldi and bought all the ingredients to make a decent charcuterie board, but you will totally learn how to take your boards to the next level, by paying attention to color and where the product was made, with one of these classes. The space is great, too. You can also get wine and sandwiches and cheeses, etc in the store - because it's important to know your ingredients before you introduce them to others. Two spacious, gender neutral bathrooms made me ever-so-happy. More than enough room to fit my entire chair into the space, including my careperson. Love this. Go check them out.

Even though the taste isn't exactly worth writing home about the service is absolutely terrific!!! You order on a kiosk and then your cookies are shown to you by a super friendly person who wants to make sure you are happy with before the box is sealed. These do make a terrific gift - hostess, teacher appreciation, housewarming, any event where you want to bring something different. The pink box is well known and loved by some. This is a cute bakery and you can tell it's all fresh. Very cute vibe. Would go to a local small town bakery that has cookies before going here. However, the service is incredible.
