I arrived at 11:52 am for my noon appointment and I am still sitting in the exam room at 2:00 PM waiting to see the doctor. At no time did anyone come into the exam room to apologize or explain Dr Takem has been held up by a difficult case. If this wasn't for an urgent medical issue, I would have walked out. Update: I decided to leave around 2:10 PM. I went to the front desk to reschedule for an early morning appointment so that I will be sure to be seen at a reasonable time. Today is June 7 and their next available is not until the end of July. I stated before this is an urgent health matter so I had no other choice but to turn around and come back to the exam room to wait. He is a good doctor, but it appears that they are scheduling patients on top of each other and it's unprofessional.

It's also inexpensive if you don't have health insurance, at $40-$60 per sick-visit, depending on what you needed. I always see Dr. Tadimalla. I recently had a bad allergic reaction to penicillin and she was genuinely concerned and very helpful, not dismissive like some Dr's can be. The place is also very clean, and has a nice little waiting area for kids if need be.

During my visits, it wasn't crowded so I was seen fairly quickly. Both visits, the same tests were administered and results for the more in depth tests are sent to the lab and provided within 24 hours. Overall, I only have positives to say. The place is clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, there's plenty of parking, and they play great music. Earth, Wind, and Fire was playing during my latest visit. When I called to set up an appointment as a new patient I was surprised because the wait to get in was pretty significant (several months), but the person I spoke with explained it was because Dr. Martin only has a limited number of new patient appointments each week, and the rest of her time is devoted to current patients. So, that works out to a slightly long wait to get in for the first time, but much shorter wait times once you're a patient! Like I said though, Dr. Martin is absolutely the best doctor I've had. At my first appointment with her, she really sat down and spent as much time as I needed with her to review my health, my concerns, etc. I've never had a physician give me that much of their time and attention, and it really meant a lot to me. Each of my subsequent appointments has been shorter, but I still leave each time feeling like I was really listened to and taken seriously. I also really appreciate that her style is to provide lots of information for me to make choices for myself, rather than feeling like she's making the decisions for me or pushing me in any particular direction. Two months ago (yes TWO) I scheduled an tele-visit for July 28th at 3:00 p.m. The doctor was a no-show. I called after 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2023, to reschedule the visit. I was transferred to the receptionist, got the voicemail, and left a message. I called a second time on July 31st at 4:15 p.m. and left a message. Still, no return call. Tuesday, August 1, I call after 11:00 a.m. The live voice service transferred me to the receptionist. No receptionist, so I leave another voicemail. Noontime I call again and this time I left another voicemail expressing that this is the worst front desk service I ever had.
