BUYER BEWARE! I'll…read morestart with the pros first. We'll get to the one star... Mike and staff are courteous and friendly. They offer multiple financing options, including in-house financing. Now, the reason for the one star. I was interested in purchasing a vehicle. During the test drive the vehicle indicated the airbag system needed servicing. Upon discussing the issue with Mike, he stated they would not fix the issue, whatever that may be, nor would they pay to have it checked out for safety. Mike went on to state, they require anyone purchasing a vehicle, to sign an airbag waiver; absolving them of any liability. What horrible ethics for a business owner. Not to mention the danger presented to the customers. What a joke.

It is a shame that they would do this to customers. My only thought is they do not want repeat business. Took in a Chrysler product that had a 3.2 litre V6 and they charged us for 8 quarts of engine oil for the oil change. When I questioned them about it they swore that this is what they put in. He said they drain it extra long. Made a statement that it is the darndest thing every now and then they run into 6 cylinder motors that take extra oil. My husband was hit by a deer late one night while driving home from Chicago. The windshield was…read moreshattered and basically the whole drivers side of the car damaged. The police called a local towing company who took the car back to their lot. When they didn't bring it to our area (a little over an hour away) the next day as we had scheduled, we looked for a body shop in that area on Yelp and Facebook and found one that looked promising. This is where Heartland comes in! I left a message on their machine since they were closed for the weekend. My first positive surprise was when the owner called me later that day. We decided to have them do the work and told him we'd contact the towing company to get the car over there. Unfortunately it took several days before it got there (which is why I won't be posting a positive review for the tow co.). Once it arrived they reviewed the estimate from our insurance company and started ordering parts. The car was completed sooner than we anticipated based on the length of time insurance estimated, plus thanksgiving week. My husband went to pick it up earlier this week and is thrilled with how it looks. There had been slivers of glass in the interior from the broken windshield, but the guys vacuumed and cleaned out everything...including, apparently, our change cup. They did say we may still find some here and there over time. Bottom line- my husband would recommend them based on the fantastic job they did putting our car back together ($9000+ damage). And I was thrilled with how friendly they were working over the phone. I called several times to see if the car had ever gotten there from the tow lot, and received updates from them once they had it. I've still never met them but wholeheartedly recommend them!

WARNING TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS:…read more My husband and I recently tried to purchase a vehicle through Princeton Auto Group, and our experience was extremely disappointing. The two representatives handling our application, Samantha and Joshua, repeatedly told us they were "working hard" to help us obtain financing. However, throughout the process we were treated in a way that made us feel like we were unworthy customers rather than people trying to purchase a vehicle in good faith. We were asked to gather multiple documents quickly and submit them for verification. We did exactly that and cooperated fully with every request. Despite this, the communication we received was dismissive and disrespectful. During conversations we often felt talked over, not listened to, and made to feel as though we were somehow less important than other customers. They even went so far as to say that we falsified documents. Buying a vehicle is already stressful, especially for people working hard to rebuild or improve their financial situation. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and basic respect during that process. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Samantha and Joshua at Princeton Auto Group. Because of how we were treated, we chose to withdraw our application and take our business elsewhere. We hope Princeton Auto Group takes this feedback seriously and improves the way customers are treated during the financing process. -- James & Marla Boyer If dealership management or ownership would like to review this situation or discuss what happened, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with someone who values respectful and transparent customer service. Our intention in sharing this experience is simply to ensure that future customers are treated with professionalism and dignity.
