I need both sleeves and the neck line hemmed so it won't fray. The owner asked for $15 to hem both sleeves and then $10 to hem the neck line. This would bring the cost to $25 per shirt or $50 total for my two shirts. I bought each shirt for $20 ($40 total value). He wants more money for some quick sewing then the shirts are even worth. He told me one guy only comes in for the sleeves which he charges $15 so he then did some thinking out loud "hmm, umm, hmm" before saying that he could do $10 for the neck then. He totally made up that price on the spot. I said that wasn't fair and I'd consider $30 total which is still too high and he adamantly refused. Avoid this place at all costs.

Upon arrival he stated he could do it with no problem. Had confidence so I left my dress with him. Came back a week later to pick it up and was right before closing so I didn't have time to try it on. When I got home and tried this dress on my a*s was hanging out the back and my arms didn't even fit into the mfn sleeves. Took dress back the next day, said he would fix it with no problems. This time he ruined the dress. He attached a completely different type of lace to the dress to make the sleeves bigger. It looked like my dress had patches of different material sewn onto it. I went back for a THIRD time. Now it's the day before my wedding. He didn't see a problem and argued the whole time. Asked him for my money back for alterations which was over $100. He said he couldn't do it. As I go back to the dressing room I overhear him talking sh*t with the other employees. "She wants it to be perfect, that's what it is". Listen if I come to you for a service and you say you can do it then I expect you to hold up your end. I'm the end, he said he would work on it for a third time and drop it off to me the morning of my wedding. I said 8:30am because I had to leave my house by 9:10 the latest. He agreed and no one showed up with the dress until 9:05am. I didn't have time to change into it from what my plan b was so I'm just cutting my losses. How you say um PORQUERIA Sh*t service. Sh*t work. Never again. I regret I didn't take pictures of the dress on myself so we could all laugh together.
