I went to this place to get my wedding bands with my wife, not going to lie, in our first visit they treated us really good and finally we decided with my wife to purchase the wedding bands we liked at this place. They day we purchased our wedding bands we put them in the case and I guess as all the couples do, we opened the day of our wedding, everything was going great but unfortunately the day after our wedding while we were at the hotel pool we noticed that one of the diamonds on my wife's ring was lost, then while my wife was taking a shower another diamond got lost, so we decided not to use it anymore. We came back to Miami and went back to the store and as you can imagine this time they didn't treat us in the same way, at the beginning I was talking with the lady that works there and she started to say that it was my wife's fault, because the ring cannot be used in a pool nor in a shower (when we purchased the rings they told us that the only thing my wife cannot do with the ring was working out at the gym) . After about two hour argument with the two owners John (Father) and Eli (son) they agreed to fix the ring and asked me to come back in 3 days while they fix it. I came back 3 days after and they were waiting for me and had a paper ready for me to sign it, stating that the ring was in perfect conditions and that after that it wouldn't have any warranty which of course I didn't sign. I took my ring walk to another jewelry next to that one and asked to one of the jewelers to help me out and review the ring, he explained to me that the ring had a very small prones which are the ones that hold each diamond and that it doesn't matter what my wife would do with the ring because the diamonds will keep falling, he then put the ring in something that they call ultra sonic test which is a test they make to make sure the prones are holding the diamonds. Unfortunately after the test 2 diamonds didn't pass the test (this was like a 10min test after they gave me back my ring), so I went back to the store and explained to them what happened; believe it or not the lady that works there started to say that probably I took the diamonds out in purpose and that they cannot do anything, so after another 30min I spoke with Eli, he asked me were we made the test, I told him, he walked over there and asked the jeweler for the 2 diamonds, came back to me and told me that he would take the ring with his best jeweler. At this point I was asking my self why they didn't take it before to his best jeweler, but in any case I gave him the chance, what really called my attention is that they put the 2 diamonds back into the ring in 10min and gave it back to me. Then the owner (John ) asked me to take the ring and have my wife using it and said that if something happens they would change it, so that's what we did. After my wife use it only one night to have dinner with me then another diamond got lost. So again we went back with my wife with the idea in mind that we had to choose another ring for her, unfortunately we couldn't find anything she liked so we asked the owner to remake the ring and use the same diamonds, but his answer was that we would have to pay an additional $500 in order to fix the ring, so at that point we knew our money was lost as they would have done the same but for $500 more. We asked for a refund, but then while we were talking with John, his son Eli started to yell at my wife and pointing at her stating that it was her fault because of how she had been using the ring. Mind you after the wedding she got to only use it 3 times day of getting after wedding one day and the day they fixed it and we went on a dinner date. Eli got very aggressive about the situation. At that point I had to let him know that there was no chance he was going to treat my wife like that. He jumped immediately outside and threaten me to have a fight outside. My wife call the security and the police as soon as he saw Eli's reaction. We explained the police what happened, they talked to John and he gave us another exact fake ring which after a couple of days of my wife using it the same happened. So for those who are planning to buy expensive jewelry at this place, please be very careful as we had the worst experience ever with this people! All the diamonds of a ring fall for showering, going on a dinner and a pool based on their explanation. I took the ring to another 3 jewelers and all of them said the same, the ring was made improperly. read more

I really wish I listened to the comments about small diamonds falling out of rings before I bought mine. When I came back to have it fixed and asked to ensure that the diamonds are secured, John told me that's what happens with diamond rings, that diamonds fall out. My response was that they shouldn't after one month. My fiancé was typing all day today on computer and two more came out. I am so disappointed with this jeweler. I spent a lot of money for this ring and to have 3 small diamonds fall out within 6 months after all my fiancé does is type on a computer all day is disgraceful. I'm going to visit John to hope he does the right thing and makes sure the ring is secured. Based on his comments here, I'm convinced that his response will be no insurance no warranty. I wish I knew the poor quality of this ring before I bought it. I am so upset and I feel duped. read more

So disappointed that we spent our money here. My husband bought my engagement ring here in August. He ended up finding a wedding band that matched perfectly so bought it at the same time. A week (if that) after putting on the wedding band, a diamond fell out of it. When my husband called them to ask if they could fix it, they said yes but they would charge us for it. Seriously!? Obviously the prong must have been lose or something but they can't make up for their poorly made jewelry. They want to charge the customer for something that is not their fault. DO NOT BUY ANY JEWELRY FROM HERE!!! Jarred, Kay, or one if those bigger named placed would be better so you know you have some sort of warranty. read more

We got sucked in by their smiles, but after comparing prices and quality, we paid 10x a high retail price!!!!!! Oh and they may tell you that they won't charge you to resize something, but they will most definitely charge you. The only reason I'm giving this place one star, aside from Yelp not giving me the option not to, is because of Elena (I think that's her name). She is the sweetest kindest most helpful person in that little shack of crooks in the back of the Jewelers exchange. My wife and I went there to buy our wedding bands. We found exactly what we wanted, but when it came time to pay, John tried to charge me five times the cost of each ring. I was lucky enough to negotiate him down to only four times the price (note my sarcasm). My wife was in love with her ring and mine, so I just went ahead and paid for both. John agreed to resize my wife's ring that day and we picked up the next day. Her ring fit her perfectly. Fast forward to two weeks before my wedding. I tried on my ring again to find that it was like six sizes too big. John and his son we're so quick to get my money in their pockets at the time of purchase that they never bothered to measure my ring size. John assured me after I bought it, however, that if I needed the ring to be resiezed later on he would take care of me without issues. So when I brought the ring back a couple weeks before my wedding to get it resized, John told me I'd have to pay him $85 to get it resized. When I asked him why he was charging me he pointed to my receipt and told me I only had seven days to get it resized. Then, as though he was doing me a favor, he told me I'd only have to pay his cost to resize it, which he said was $35. I told him that he made me a promise when I bought the ring that he'd resize it without issue if I ever brought it back. This crook made me feel bad for asking him to follow through on something he offered me. Eventually he didn't charge me and resized my ring. When I picked it up the next day, however, the style of my ring changed. It went from being a modern flat finish to a classic rounded finish. Elena felt bad and did offer to do something about it but at that point I felt too bad to have them do more work for me that I said no thank you and left with it. Fast forward to today. My wife and I got married two days ago. I'm finding my wedding band to be a little tight. So I called John the Crook again to find out how much it would cost to resize my ring this time. Crook Junior answered the phone and when I told him who I was he said "oh you're the one who didn't want to pay for your ring." And then he told me it would be $65 to have it resized again. All in all, this is the worst jeweler you could go to. Don't let John and his son convince you to buy from them. Elena is the only nice person at that booth, but even though she's a sweetheart, she's not enough to make this place worth buying from. Now I wear this ring every day that reminds me of how horrible it was to purchase it. I will never go back to this father/son duo of crooks, and HIGHLY discourage anyone else from going to them! They don't care about their customers (except for Elena). UPDATE: I took my ring to another jeweler to get it resized. Not only did this jeweler offer to resize it for $20 less than Crook Junior quoted me, but also confirmed that the ring I received from John the Crook was never resized. So they did give me the wrong ring back. These people are truly crooks. read more

I Just had the worst experience at this place today. Once you've made your purchase, all ties are cut. All they care about is getting your money. I made a purchase and the next day I wanted to exchange. I understand that it's non-refundable, but I tried asking anyway since it had been less than 24 hours. John said that he would take me to court if he had to for $500.00. Eli was nice to me during the process, but once he learned I wanted to get an exchange he stated that he'd already spent an hour with me and that he'd given me enough of his time and said his customers usually know what the want and usually buy within 15 minutes. If service is important to you in purchasing, I suggest to go somewhere else. This is a one time stop, all ties cut, make a quick deal kind of place. The customer is not what matters, they only want your money. Please stay away from this place. Spend a little more money for both service and quality. read more
