My wife and I see Dr Cammack and her staff, front desk and herself are incredible. They go above and beyond to help us out. They are very upfront about how much we owe and every time we go in we know what our portion is going to be. I literally can't think of one negative thing to say about her or the practice.

Very dissapointed in both Texas Health Care and Dr. Kathleen Cammack. My wife first went in July of…read more2017. The receptionist discussed that there would be no out of pocket until 2018 and we would be billed for the delivery after the insurance paid their part. Our visit on November 21st we were told by the receptionist that what the insurance doesn't cover had to be paid in full by the next visit (possibly 2, I don't recall) shocked, and concerned after some discussion because we couldn't pay it in full with that kind of notice we set up a payment plan to get at least half of it paid before the due date. Our appointment on December 5th was akward with Dr. Cammack. My wife made it clear since the first visit that she wanted to have a Vbac delivery. This visit Dr. Cammack was talking about needing records and how if she can't do the delivery and one of the other doctors in her group do it they might push for C-section. Before we leave we make a payment and get a paper showing that we need to pay much more than we can afford to pay the FULL amount off before delivery date. We were to stressed to discuss it so I let it go. 12/6 we get a very rude call from a lady telling us if we don't pay it in full by today 12/8/2017 that our doctor is going to drop us. I explain the situation that this is not at all what was discussed, we were NEVER at any point at our visits told anything different other than we would owe AFTER delivery and she told me she would call Dr. Cammack and get back with me. Today she called, rude once again explained if we didn't pay half of it today we were dropped. Before I could fully respond she hung up on me. I called the office, the Receptionist contacted someone else and when they called me again it was rude. Here we are, less than 2 months before our baby is due scrambling to find a new doctor.Texas health care and Dr. Cammack you have made this experience so stressful for the past few weeks and I couldn't be more disgusted or upset about how we were treated. I will do EVERYTHING I can to spread the word and tell our story so others don't have to go through what we have.

Women I have talked to that has had a c-section in the last year said they were given strong pain meds for the first 2 weeks, hell when I had my c-section I got ample enough pain meds and that was over 35 years ago!! She was told by the NP if you come in and if i deem it necessary I might write you a script for a few more, mind you they live over an hour away. No woman should have to suffer in pain from a c-section due to your negligence. PLS IF YOU CAN GO TO ANOTHER OBGYN AND AVOID THE PAIN AND SUFFERING MY NIECE IS GOING THROUGH. From my point of view it all depends on how you look on what your gonna get from Dr. Martin Read and his NP Shelly
