I normally do not rate chain type resturants but in this case I made an exception. This Johnny Rockets is located in food court of the Alainte Hotel and Casino. We dropped by just to get an order of cheese fries before our concert at the Access Showroom which were really good (they have both shredded and nacho cheese on them). My husband and I stopped in for dinner after attending the craft fair at Aliante. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Not pictured was the burger meal I ordered that came with French fries in the picture. My husband chose Diet Pepsi and I chose Raspberry Tea. Everything was great including the service. We enjoyed our meals and time out together. It was quiet, not busy and relaxing. Located inside Aliante Hotel & Casino at 7300 Aliante Pkwy North Las Vegas, NV 89084. Like all casinos in Vegas, there is plenty of parking as well as a garage off of Elkhorn Dr. If you are going to Johnny Rockets, the food court, the movie theater or the sports bar, I would suggest using the parking garage and parking on level 3 unless you are a VIP member. Once on the elevator, take the short ride down to the casino floor. Once you turn right off the elevator, you will see the sports bar on your right, theater and food court straight ahead. With the lifting of masks for covid by the governor, Aliante property has gone maskless, but you can wear masks, if you wish. This Johnny Rockets location does not have a kid's menu because the focus is on the adults who are most of their clients since it is inside a casino. Nevertheless, there are other menu items that kids can eat. I bought my son chicken tenders which is made from actual chicken because he found a bone in one of his tenders. We also got the Spicy Houston which has jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, a spicy sauce. You can get the burger with a single patty or double it up. I got it as a single and still loved it. We also got their chocolate milk shake which was pretty good...better than McDonalds for sure. Overall, love the experience. I ordered a Bacon Cheddar Burger. The menu states sliced onion. I asked for the onions to be grilled. THEY CHARGED ME $2.00 EXTRA!!! Had they mentioned that there would be an extra charge, I would've just grilled the onions myself at home! They should notify customers of any additional charges. My wife went to the one in Aliante Casino. I had the double cheese burger with onion rings. Wife got a regular cheese burger. She also got regular fries and I got loaded fries. The wife got a drink and I got an Oreo shake, which was good. The price was very high ($32) Everything was make fresh. Burgers were good and so was my loaded fries but my wife's fries were very overdone. I am sure they would have made new ones but she did not want to wait. Be aware if you order fires. It has been some time since I had visited Johnny Rockets. A month ago I decided to try it again before a movie. We he staff were amazing and our food was perfect. My next visit was different. The staff of two surely were not following Covid or general food safety guidelines. Not horrible, but not great. They were wiping down counter areas with bare hands. One put on gloves before sloppy toss of my burger meat onto the grill. The other working the fries and cashier did not wash her hands and just handled the fries, money, drinks and serving trays and paper dishes. Big deal? Not so much..kinda... but then she was scratching her back and messing with her hair dreadlocks. Food still good, HOT Temperature and fresh. It was just the cleanliness protocols that I wish were same as my prior visit. Two different shift teams for sure. Anyways, just an observation. If you are concerned about cleanliness, just be sure to cal out something that concerns you. If someone is wiping their nose before they start to assemble your meal. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich, and he got a bun which I suppose was whole wheat, but it was all flat; a HUGE leaf of lettuce, and a piece of chicken which was 1/8 inch thick at best. It was grilled and rubbery, dry, and tasteless. He could've gotten two great Chick-fil-A sandwiches for the same price. He said it was the worst chicken sandwich he'd ever had. I ordered a bacon cheddar burger, and the patty was as thin as the chicken. I also got the lettuce, two slices of tomato, a WHOLE slice of onion, the bacon and cheddar. I kid you not, the slice of onion was as thick, or thicker, than the meat. The burger was below average, and it tasted more of onion than of anything else. Kinda disappointed. We ordered to go and got home (centennial, from Aliante, not far but not close either) and realized they didn't give us 2 orders of fries. Had to go back and pick up, and when I did asked if I could get a few extra sauces, they went a little skimpy on the first pick up, and since I had to come twice it would have been a nice gesture. They asked if I wanted ranch, and I said yes and maybe thousand island also (mind you we ordered for 6 people so about $60 order). I have no idea what the deal was as it was the GF's but I do know this was one of the only locations we could use it at. Located in what is probably the cleanest food court I have ever seen, I set about to see what tasty artery clogging there were to devour. The Route 66 burger that I ordered was cooked at medium-well with buttery buns, grilled onions and mushrooms -- I put a hold on the mayo. It's a decent burger and comparable to ones at fast food spots, like Jack in the Crack. My boyfriend ordered The Bacon Cheddar Double with mushrooms, which are an additional $1. He also noted that it was, "like something he's had at Jack in the Box." Basically, this is like Jack in the Box in a different form and without the fast food-like service. What I disliked about my experience was the service. The staff bust their butts here, so either this place is understaffed or there's inefficiency in procedures. I get that the food is made to order, but it takes way too long for it to arrive. Also, what's up with having to wait in line for almost 5 minutes to receive a beverage refill? -- I kid you not. What's going on here??? I'm still a fan of Johnny Rockets' burgers, especially their Rocket Double. Their burgers taste similar to Fatburger in my opinion. Burgers are usually juicy and what sets them apart is their seasoned bun. But my most recent visit wasn't as good. First issue was that no one was at the counter or even the cooking area. They even have a bell by the register, which only means they do this a lot. I didn't ring the bell because it's their job to service me, not mine to request for service. One of the employees noticed me, apologized about the wait, and took my order. I wasn't a jerk, but he could tell I didn't look happy. He did his best and I credit him for that. Francine G. gave them 1 start for poor service and a long wait. I had just okay service, but also a long wait. For a FF Burger Joint, shouldn't take longer than 20 minutes for a burger, honestly. It did and glad it didn't take 45 mins like it did for Francine. Burger this time wasn't juicy. In fact, it was a bit dry. This visit was 2 stars at most during this visit, but I have also received 4 star service/quality in the past at this location. So, my overall right now is 3 stars.
