I have been here twice, and LOVED it each time! I go early-ish in the morning, and haven't had to wait. It's so great to be able to go when I'm free, instead of having to plan out weeks in advance. They are super cheap, but the quality is amazing. The only haircuts I've loved as much have cost me at least 4 times as much. You can't beat that with a stick! read more

I have been going to Johnny for about 2 years and I found him by his product, I saw a lady with her hair perfectly style cut and asked her who her hairdresser was. I was expecting a Mario Tricoci high end place but I was very surprised to find this wonderful stylist. I never fret about what he will do as he cuts according to face frame as a stylist should. Such a great demeanor in his character as well and is very down to earth, not an ounce of pretentiousness and a very affordable price for the whole shabang of color, hairstyle and dry. You know a great person by their work and he always explains why he needs to cut off or leave as is and works to make the most of anything you might have wrecked somewhere else. HIGHLY recommend and trust him with my bouffant lol... Oh and rides a motorcycle. Major points on that lol! read more

Johnny is a very talented hair stylist, but his price definitely does not reflect that. At $10, you will not believe the quality of the haircut you get. I pretty much leave him alone, and he determines the length and the style that suits the shape of your head, and face. Have never been disappointed, and I have been going there for almost 10 years now. As one reviewer states, you may have to wait a while, esp if you go on a Saturday. If you have some spare time late afternoon Friday, the wait may not be as long. It is a good thing I fly to Chicago quite often. read more

I love Johnny and Tina's. Johnny, Tony, and Rosa work magic on hair! Each one has their own way of doing things and a unique view on styling techniques but each of them is wonderful. I've been going here for yeas and have never had a bad hair cut or color! They are well worth what they charge and are always ready for conversation when you come in. Johnny is great with knowing exactly what will look good on you and Tony knows exactly how you want your hair with the most minimal direction. Johnny is a great guy. He cut my hair when I first went there about 2 years ago and he did an excellent job and only charged me 15 for a cut and blowdry/style. So I figured I'd go back. I got a spanish lady and was never introduced properly so I don't know her name..... I got a shampoo, cut, and blowdry/ style ( if that's what you call it) Well she didn't do such a great job and the way she blow dried my hair was super sloppy. Anyways I was charged 40 dollars and was astounded. The service was not that great she rushed just to get me out and I felt very over charged and I could've blow dried and styled my hair ALOT better! Sorry but i would never go back to this place or recommend to any of my friends! 40 Dollars??? You'd think it was Mario Triccoci service with a scalp massage! NOT! I would recommend going to Ego by Austin and Addison. They have exceptional customer service and they don't just get you in and out. They take their time to make sure you're satisfied and they don't over charge you! I got full hair of highlights for 95 dollars and the lady did a great job and made sure I was happy! :) read more
