Lately, 6 months, I've had numerous issues with my apartment. Including both my AC and heater going out when the weather was fluctuating. During this time, I reached out to the apartment complex and was told that it would be handled. It took almost 2 weeks to get it completed, it was suggested for a heater to be placed in my apartment temporarily and I have a dog. I was told I would not receive a discount on my rent because at one point I had to run emergency heat. Additionally, my toilet seat is broken, I sent it a maintenance request for a new toilet seat. I haven't heard from maintenance or anyone in the main office. This request was sent on April 1st, 2025. I live in a one bedroom apartment with one bathroom.

Steve's willingness to go above and beyond gave us the confidence we needed to move into our apartment without even touring the property in person. Steve took time to answer all of our many questions, sent extra pictures of the area around our apartment, and overall attended to us in such a way that made us feel great about our decision to move here. We were not disappointed upon arrival. This property is gorgeous and immaculately maintained, the apartments are spacious and comfortable, and the location is great - close enough to be convenient, yet set in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. Thanks again to Steve for making this transition such a smooth and positive experience!

Having had to plan the move from so far away, and not having seen the place in person, I was hoping for the best. That's what I got. From the very beginning of my communications with leasing consultant Peggy, I was satisfied with her answers to all my questions and all the information she provided to me for a successful move in - even traveling from 600 miles away. Upon arrival, Peggy, and fellow leasing consultants Julie and Raquel, welcomed my husband, our puppy, and I warmly and with kindness. Peggy had turned on the heat for us in our unit in advance and toured us through the beautiful campus, showing us all the amenities Aventine has to offer. We are so pleased to have chosen this complex. The entire staff is so friendly and they clearly love their jobs. It feels like home already and I would recommend staying here with confidence to anyone. ~Amy, Bob and CoCo

Woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, got a knock from security shortly after, the downstairs neighbors said I was being too loud at 3:30. I have all of this on camera. I also cannot shower in the main bathroom. Since day 1, they told me that's just how the shower pressure is. However, most days the pressure is not good enough to reach the shower head. videos of this as well. Overall, a good place to live if you don't have a dog, life on a floor with neighbors who understand it's an apartment complex and you have a two bedroom; so you can shower in your second bath.

Yes, you can hear the tenants above you walking and I've rarely heard talking. I think that is unavoidable unless one lives in a concrete building. A train track is across the street, but it becomes just background noise. Bridlewood is perfectly located for all your shopping needs: grocery stores, many restaurants, big box stores, and West Town mall.

A maintenance worker openly admitted that the mold had been painted over after the previous tenants moved out, before I moved in. That alone is unacceptable. What makes this worse is that during the final walkthrough, management already had painters come in -- once again -- to paint over the mold instead of properly addressing it. Painting over mold is not a solution; it's a cover-up. It shows a complete lack of concern for tenant health and safety. Mold is not a cosmetic issue. It's a health hazard. The fact that this was knowingly concealed raises serious concerns about honesty, accountability, and basic standards of living. I trusted that this apartment was move-in ready and safe -- that trust was clearly misplaced. If you're considering living here, I strongly recommend asking very specific questions and documenting everything, because transparency is clearly not a priority.

I won't go into too much detail about most of that time as it was just a few little things. The main reason for writing this review is to let others know of the dishonesty of this business and to protect yourselves vigorously by keeping detailed records of every interaction with them. It will not matter that they were aware of the situation or not as they never note accounts after being asked to and decide to have selective memory at a moments' notice. Back in early May of 2024, there was a fire that occurred in one of the apartments that were in my building (I want to apologize to the tenants for having to bring this up, complaint about the company requires it). The sprinkler systems went off and thoroughly soaked that apartment. The water from the sprinkler system flooded the downstairs apartments adjacent to it. I had a one bedroom studio apartment that was on the second floor but the staircase led down to the first story where my front door was. Water was running out from underneath my staircase and out my front door. I had emergency personnel tell me that they were required to enter my apartment and check the second floor to ensure no damage was taking place. Long story short, the emergency personnel tracked dirt and grime up and down my staircase. When the manager and assistant property manager both showed up, they had a dehumidifier delivered to pull up all the water which I had to personally empty for over a week. During that conversation, the stairs were discussed and let them know then that the stairs should not be responsibility, to which they agreed. I asked them to note my file (my fault for not looking over their shoulder to make sure they did their job) and thought this was a done deal. When I moved out, they came back and charged my for the staircase. I argued with them but they chose to have selective memory about the situation and charged me anyway. This is the deception I am referring to as I should not have been charged for the staircase. It's not about the money, it is about the deception. Do not trust these people ever, no matter how nice they seem to be. The very people I was speaking with were the very same people that were there for the conversation but suddenly had selective memory and told me to show my proof. The proof was in their heads the whole time because they were there.
