Except for the ones at MCGS with whom I am lucky enough to spend an hour every Wednesday doing science projects. These kids are better all around than most adults I know. And from what I've seen, they wash their hands way more frequently. As corny as it might sound, the kids at MCGS give me a lot of hope. They are the best behaved, most thoughtful, and smartest scamps I have ever hung out with. They definitely put grammar school me to shame (girl was too busy matching scrunchies to Fila kicks to study). Best of all, they are cool and hilarious. The point is, this school is doing something very right. I suspect it has a lot to do with the fact that it is basically a fortress. They're doing a pretty great job of keeping out the harsh elements of Mission Hill and getting these awesome kids to care about learning. They made me adore them, despite being children -- they're changing the world already.

We decided to our have our children attend the school and are very happy that we did. By utilizing the Montessori method in the younger classes and weaving it in to the older classrooms (which go through 6th grade), Kingsley offers a creative, fun, and effective way of learning. Not only are our children achieving academic success, but they both also love going into the classroom each day. I left all my info with the intention of enrolling my kids. Never heard from them, when I called back she told me that her assistant is very good at keeping track of clients, the same assistant who was supposed to contacted me 3 weeks ago and that never did? She laughed , never apologize and stumble on each word as she did not know what to say. It sounds like a scam.

He was so unhappy he cried and refused to remain until the preschool teacher took him into her class. He loved it there and loved the teacher. Unfortunately several months later he was moved back to the higher level class where he was not allowed to nap and the teacher told me he was holding back the rest of the class because he did not kn ow math! I got him out of there as fast as I could.

The physics teacher was condescending with his "I'm sorry you feel that way." Reply every time you had a legitimate issue. Some of the administration were horrible and one actually made an Acquaintance of mine cry because they made a threat to tell their parents about the people they were hanging out with (despite them having no issues). The worst one for me is that I had an IEP and they had a meeting with me about it without my parents even present or informed. I wasn't 18 or an legal adult and they had no reason to do so. Unfortunately the group of good people there doesn't outweigh the horrible ones.

Everything about Snowden International School at Copley is fantastic. This is a high school that…read morereally shows the students how much they care. There are limitless after school options, and four years of a language. When I went, they offered Mandarin, Japanese, French and Spanish. I took French. On top of everything else, they go on field trips to different countries every single year. I love everything about Snowden and even considered becoming a high school teacher just to work there, until I discovered I hate teenagers which is neither here nor there. Long story short, Snowden is a fabulous high school.
