The shift in when i noticed that Dr. Faynboyn was no longer professional was when he decided to tell me i was making up my aversive reaction to a medication called Lamictal.. He said there was no way I could have gotten that side effect because it was rare. I did not once tell him he was wrong just that i don't like the way this medication is making me feel. I got a second opinion and 3rd opinion one from an urgent care physician and one from a dermatologist. I was right, and he made me feel like I was a crazy person. He somehow felt threaten and thought i was going to sue him or something because he panicked and said no way and started to be rude to me. Which I thought was odd because i looked up to him and thought he was great and understanding. I was also doing and intensive outpatient program where i was seeing another psychiatrist, and swayed away from Dr. Faynboyn and saw her instead. She was amazing. After i finished my program I went back to Nuerowellness spa and continued with another Physician Dr. Quy Pham who was great and I was able to fade of my medication a year later. Everything from there went well. Mind you this is in 2023. Fast forward to today, in December i had a really bad Panic attack and was sent to the ER... My mom tried reaching out and spoke to Roxanna and she mentioned that she would get back to my mom to set up an appointment. This is was a couple weeks away from Christmas, mom waitied for her to return her call and she NEVER did. We come to find out that the week of Christmas i decide to reach out and we find out she is out for the week. Mind you i had no problems with Roxanna before in 2023, we got along great i looked forward to seeing her.. I was appalled I spoke to i believe Jasmine or the girl working in the office at the time she was the the office staff but maybe a Physician but spoke with me and apologized about that and mentioned that someone from long beach would be reaching out because he is covering for Roxanna.. I waitied a whole day and i did not bug because i understand that it is the holidays. I too and my mom work in the health field and admin so we know how busy it can get. I has been two full days now and i do not hear anything. I call again and speak with an intake specialist I believe her name was Sydney and she mentioned that she would call the Long beach office and was sorry about this whole situation. I get a call back and she then tells me that i am not fit to be seen by them and i was flabbergasted i asked why? and she said she wasn't sure but that they recommended i see another psychiatry place.. I was shocked because i ended well with Dr. Quy Pham that I graduated out from support with no longer taking medication for a Year. I was doing really well up until december where my anxiety was up the roof and i had been admitted to the ER. My mom was trying to get ahold of them before things got worse for me and we did not hear back. It is quiet unprofessional and dissappointing as getting help has always been hard in the mental health field. I really needed them and they were no where to be fond. So they really need to take a look at how they handle situations and really take a look at why are they in this field. This population is quite vulnerable and for them to say they care but when someone really needs it they don't do anything about it and let people fend for themselves. Its sad... This clinic cancelled appointments on me last minute twice after I had taken time off work both…read moretimes to come in. The first time they called me at 10am the day of my appointment to let me know that the provider was out. The second time - they didn't even let me know until I walked in the door that the appointment had been cancelled as I didn't fill out the online intake forms. I tried to sign up to the website - but the email confirmations to register the account never came through. The front desk person told me once I got in that if the forms weren't filled out an hour prior to arrival, the appointment gets cancelled. The only other option is to arrive an hour early to fill out the paperwork. Nobody had informed me of this. The only notice I got came two hours prior to my appointment. Meaning, after receiving their notification text - you have to know you're supposed to arrive within the hour to fill out paperwork even though the text doesn't mention that. This establishment is unprofessional and lacks compassion for the patients coming in for mental heath treatment. What a disappointing experience.

Back again! This company's billing practices are terrible…read more Turns out the vitamin supplement quantities that Dr. Puri suggested were obscene. My PCP put a stop to that. Then, Mindpath Health billing used codes that treated the visit as "out of network". (To be technical, I confirmed that Dr. Puri is in-network with my provider. We confirmed that Mindpath submitted Dr. Puri's correct NPI (National Provider Identification) correctly. But they listed a different tax ID that wasn't part of their contract with my insurer. For this, I was supposed to pay $643. I had difficulty trying to convey to Mindpath Health staff that they needed to resubmit the bill with corrected information. When I called them this week, they simply told me you have a zero balance, do not worry. (The tone was actually rather condescending, btw). Thank god I have a health care navigator who called them. They blamed the incorrect claim on a software glitch, then promised to resubmit it. Blah.

Maybe she was just mean to me because I'm fat. Her comments made it obvious that weight loss for me was part of the "complex treatment plan" So there were many red flags I shouldve left the second she call me obese. It was uncalled for and irrelevant and being psychiatrist and knowing I have an eating disorder I would think shed know not to comment on my appearance or weight. One of the worst things about the whole appointment is she told me to wean off completely free Lithium 600 my that I'd been taking for a year in 6 days. Being a doctor I would assume she knows how dangerous that could be for me. When I asked if that could make me sick with withdrawal she said if I was worried of getting sick I could wean for 2 weeks then be off it. I looked online it said the dosage should be lowered in increments every 2-6 weeks. I've been weaned off many meds and I know that's not safe to do. She didn't know anythinf about eating disorders repeatedly mentioned weight loss even after I told her I didn't want to focus on weight loss. Seeing as the disease I suffer from thrives off of concept of skinny cures all FML so upset. also asked graphic details of a traumatic experience if I penetrated or touched. Theres no reason you need to know that to help me. Will you prescribe something different if I was touche? How is that relevant. Trauma is trauma. If you're really sensitive and deal with trauma or PTSD or have body image issues or an eating disorder I recommend trying somewhere else. Or try this out. It doesn't hurt to try. You might like her. I'm not coming back. I left feeling so triggered and stupid for opening up about my stuff and having her talk to me like she didn't believe me. Ugh, good luck.
