I also wanted pipes for a shower hookup and a sink hookup. Tom and Brian Callahan came to do the job. They found a partially rotted bean and unstable flooring in the bathroom. They spent three days working to correct all the deficiencies. They did a great job, even though they had to spend a lot of time about 10 feet or more above the stairs on a ladder. Tom even found me a lid to my downstairs toilet, and he didn't charge me for it. The lid had been broken when a cabinet fell off the wall. At our first meeting, time was taken to throughly discuss ideas & concepts... possible concerns were noted... and firm dates were made for follow-ups. Anthony Lamore and his crew were always transparent about what was being done - and when - and were 100% reliable in all their committments. Getting permits in order was navigated swiftly, patiently, and with good humor (La Crosse was still figuring out the required permitting for ADUs). Communication was outstanding. When construction started, the various components of foundation work, plumbing, electrical work, and building contruction were woven together seamlessly. Construction - from the foundation, to finishing the inside with our requested lighting, appliances, & plumbing fixtures, was beyond impressive. 'Definitely solid, quality work, with thoughtful attention to details that wouldn't even be on the radar of many companies. In the beginning, after the post, Anthony agreed to return some of the $ but wanted my parents to agree to allow him to keep around 50k for "administrative fees, restocking fees, etc." What a joke, you want restocking fees for materials you haven't yet ordered and administrative fees for having accomplished nothing to that point. Obviously we said no. Our attorney has been in touch but I'm guessing this will be a long drawn out issue. He has yet to do the right thing once in this process. I don't see him doing it now. I'm sure he's spent the money or is using it for some other project he's currently on. Nothing has changed, Anthony and his business are Complete Scammers! Run the other direction.
