The wife and I are new home owners and our well pump went out so like fools called the first company in the phone book we saw, Able Plumbing and well. Well, they came out and fixed the well and put a new well cap on. The older guy sat on his rear end watching the new KID do it, so right there we were charged for two 'Pros'. 6 months later the wife and dogs and I were not feeling very well so had the water tested. Turns out that the 'Pros' didn't seal the well cap when they replaced it so we had e-wigs and ants all breading and dying in our well water!!! Long story short, DO NOT call Able for any of your needs. We had to have a NEW well put in and it cost us one hell of a lot of money we should not of had to pay out!! read more

This is for an inhouse sewage sump pump for our lower level. Here is a quote from their email... "then our materials or any business that sells materaisl has a mark up, ours is 55-65% (depending on the material , large items are a little less than smaller itmes such as fittings) so a little more double the actual cost of the materials is a good rule of thumb so your bill was 1750 600 in materials so 1400 there then the 300 an hour ( thats a minumum charge for a site visit) so thats where the 1750 came from" If the material was even marked up just 65% it would have only came to $990 not $1,400.
