I moved to Texas in 2021, and have continued my online lessons with an occasional in person lesson when I'm in town. I played in marching band in high school and college, but never really became proficient on the drumset. After retiring from my job, I decided to start playing again. Andrew evaluated my skills, and picked songs that set me up for immediate success! I've performed in recitals, and I'm looking forward to playing at some open mic nights in the Austin area, and jamming with musicians in my community. Andrew has a great teaching style that puts you at ease, and helps you to learn at a good pace. I've really enjoyed playing songs that interest me and learning a variety of beats, grooves and fills.
