I think it is manned predominantly by volunteers so has a very friendly atmosphere. You get all sorts of shows here from comedies to plays and musicals (I have been fortunate enough to perform here and thoroughly enjoyed it). The theatre is very close to bus and rail routes (Metropolitan & Piccadilly lines-Exit at Ruislip station) and is easily accessible from the centre of Ruislip (approx 100m), for those who can't drive/don't have a car or would prefer a social evening. It also has its own private car park; however, this gets very busy so turn up early to avoid dissapointment. Inside the theatre is a little dated with a small bar but large seating area. The place doubles up as a village hall so has to cater for all. The auditorium is excellent, with a large stage, raised seating and the sound travels really well. You can always get an excellent view of the stage, along with the other 250 people that it seats. There are also some very nice pubs in the local area to visit after the show has finished. There is plenty going on here, so always worth putting it into your favourites list so you can keep abreast of events (will no doubt be worth 5 stars when the upgrades are completed).

The Royal Berkshire Conference Centre offers meeting rooms, executive suites, and lounges for business meetings and events. What better place to hold a team-building event than at a sports stadium? There is even an aptly named Princess Suite with a lounge area that overlooks the courtyard of the Millennium Madejski Hotel; this is the largest room, holding up to 400 people, and often chosen for weddings. Not really my style, but it probably works perfectly for someone else. I'm giving the Conference Centre an extra star because I'm just plain impressed.

Also runs a cinema club that plays films that have been in mainstream cinema for a couple of months for a very low price. Would be good to see more recent release films & theatre productions there. I have been visiting this club for sometime now and have just become a member. They have a darts…read moreteam on a tuesday night, crib on wednesdays bingo thurdays and sundays and entertainment every saturday evening. Recently they helped raise £4000 pounds for Cancer Reasearsh UK by allowing the use of the hall for free and the garden for a BBQ with use of there own equipment. They also support Yateley Green football club. They have a big screen and 2 flat screen TV for people to watch and its not just football that you can watch every other sport has a chance to be aired as well. I recently went on a saturday night and they had a Wii night it was great fun and well attended and our team won £30 by comming first. Not the first time we have won we attended the Quiz night with 2 other friends not usually my thing but had a great time and won again so if you get a chance come sus it out and have a great time cheep drinks and good entertainment especially on a Saturday night
