If I could give this a 0 star rating, I really would. My first visit with him (couple years back) was fucking rude and awkward. As soon as he walked into the room, he asked me "How are you doing today?" (Keep in mind, my little short self was in a good mood because I was finally able to see a civilian doctor for my foot pains.) My response of course, was "Good! How are you?" And then his response was "I'm fine, but that's not what I was asking." Like ok, rude ass?! Second time I saw him, I obviously wasn't looking forward to it at all. And let's just say I stopped seeing him after my second or third visit, even though I still had problems with my foot.
Fast forward to now, I signed a release form for my medical records 4 months ago, and have YET to receive them. Every time I called the front office and ask questions like "Do you know how long it will take before I receive my medical records?" or "Can you give me a rough estimate as to how long it will take before he accepts my request for them?", the same secretary or nurse would give me the same bullshit answers. "He has a lot of patients who are also requesting their records." "He's really busy." Blah, blah, blah... Now I'm not going to lie, I didn't know any better, so I thought that it DID take a while for them to gather my medical records. (but 4 FUCKING MONTHS?!) And I believed that they were doing the best they could to rush my request for them, but low and behold, they really weren't. Now before you start wondering why it took me 4 months before I finally put my foot down, there's this thing called life. I have other obligations so I tend to be forgetful, I'm fucking human! But anywho, I decided to do my research and see how long it usually takes for a medical facility to provide you your medical records. (WHICH IS LESS THAN A MONTH BTW, depending on the situation) So I emailed his secretary or whatever her title is, and basically stated that if I do not receive my medical records by the end of this week, I will file a complaint with HIPAA. (If anyone who reads this review has the same problem I'm having, HIPAA will help you!) The next day she responded back stating she TRIED emailing me the medical files but the files were too large...really?... REALLY?! When I first spoke to her before I even sent back the signed medical release forms, I stated I wanted THE FILES MAILED TO ME! BUT I GUESS YOU BECOME FORGETFUL TOO WHEN IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS!
All-in-all, either him or his staff, or both, are incompetent.
And if you are wondering, I still have YET to receive my medical records! read more
