I have worked with The Moose Group twice. Most recently, Moose helped me with the purchase of a house. I am not an exaggerator, and I can honestly say that the entire experience was awesome. One of the things I most appreciated was the thoughtful communication through the Tuesday video updates as well as the use of WhatsApp chats to stay up-to-date in real time. I was always able to get my questions answered quickly. I had sort of stumbled into using Redfin on my first offer, but there were several red flags that occurred during the offer and inspection period. I was able to move on and this time I went back to the expertise that Moose offers. He made a point to tell me that he wanted to earn my business, which he did. I have recently recommended Moose to my co-workers and I will do so again in the future. I cannot recommend Moose and his team highly enough! read more

The Moose Group was a huge help with our home purchase. They were helpful over the time we were looking and were patient and not pushy, as it took a while for the right home to become available. All the while, they were responsive and easy to communicate with and helped us understand the market, our needs, and our "nice-to-haves." Once we were ready to make an offer, they were tremendously helpful with our initial offer and then with negotiations. Beyond the business side, they put people first and are interested in getting to know where help is needed and what kind of help would be most useful. We HIGHLY recommend working with them! read more

Everything from beginning to end was great working with Moose. I had been thinking about selling my place for a while, and one day I got a letter from this place called The Moose Group. While I was disappointed that this letter wasn't an invitation to an elite secret society (ala Fred Flintstone and the Water Buffaloes), I was intrigued with what the letter said. Moose sent out letters to my house and surrounding homes in regards to a family/buyer of his that was looking for a home just like mine. As a homeowner, we all get the "We'd like to buy your house!" postcards and stuff all the time, right? Well, this letter really caught my eye and even included a picture of the family he was helping out. I thought that was a really professional touch. From other people who have left reviews, they did not appreciate this letter, but I thought, "let's see what this is all about". I called and spoke to Moose and we made a deal! I received fair market value for my home and his buyers were able to find a place close to family. I think the whole thing is a pretty cool success story! I guess snail mail and hand written letters do still work. I grew up with two Real Estate Broker parents, so I am familiar with the business. I've sold four houses in the past and I've never had the process go this easily! Everything Moose told me he would do, he did. He was consistent, completely upfront and stuck to his word--truly he is a master of his craft. I would absolutely recommend him to family and friends! If you want to have the best real estate experience, you need to call Moose, he is a 10 out of 10. With the Seattle Real Estate market being what it is, and you're thinking of selling, I would really recommend giving The Moose Group a call. For real. read more

My experience working with the Moose Group was supportive and seamless. They had every system of communication and transparency in place throughout our entire process of selling our house and supporting us in buying a new one. When it came to selling our house, it was meaningful to us that Moose took the extra time to make sure our house sale and closing went smoothly. For example, he swung by our property to take items to the dump that an unkind neighbor left outside our house. This was definitely no one's fault, but he stepped up to make our buyers feel great about their first time on the property. When it came to buying a new house, Moose also helped up get a better sense of our new neighborhood by talking with our potentially new neighbors. He wanted to make sure that all of the downsides of our potentially new purchase were really considered, so that we would not rush into a purchase or be disappointed. It was so supportive. I never felt that The Moose Group was too busy for me either. They were able to quickly respond to our questions and never treated us like any question was too 'out there'. I would recommend our friends and family use the Moose Group as well. read more

We loved working with The Moose Group. It was really fantastic working with Moose and Romly when buying our house. We got a house we never thought was possible to live in. Moose and Romly were incredibly available and patient with all of our questions. They made the whole process feel organic and easy. Moose and his team went above and beyond, he was super honest and open. We felt like we could ask him anything and ask for help related to the home buying process. Romly showed us so many places, without hesitating and he even helped manage our 4 year old.  He was so kind and patient. We absolutely will recommend Moose and The Moose Group, we loved working with them. read more

We used Moose and his team for the recent sale of our home. His team was very helpful with prepping the house for market and taking care of all of the details. We were very pleased with Moose's availability and the close relationship we built with him. Communication between all parties was very smooth. I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family to Moose! read more

We really love The Moose Group! They have been very accommodating for our needs and wants. We rented one of Moose's properties and decided to go into buying a home. We have some mold issues, and Moose has been incredibly perceptive in checking out new spaces that we were interested in. He was able to find potential water damage in some places, overall good at finding us the right fit. Moose literally helped us get into the house, he bought the water heater straps, changed the locks, he even offered his truck for moving, along with pizza; It was above and beyond! We worked with Erin specifically, and we love her and want everyone to work with her. You guys are great, thank you so much! read more

The Moose Group helped my fiancé and I find our first home in Covington! All of the members of the Moose Group were very helpful, flexible and professional. They helped my fiancé and I find the house of our dreams. This process went so smoothly I couldn't believe it was reality. Our experience was wonderful working with The Moose Group. They were responsive, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I feel as though most realtors just want to get you into a home somewhere, but Moose & Team made sure the home felt right for us. They knew our needs, and were able to help us find our home. When it comes to communications, they do a great job at being available. Their network of resources as we went through the process was helpful, even after our purchase and sale with Moose, he is definitely someone I will text when I need a contractor or need to know something about an area. We have recommended a lot of people to him since our engagement. We would definitely recommend The Moose Group to our family and friends. Our best part was receiving weekly updates from Courtney, I miss those and wish we got them as former clients. It was an all around wonderful experience. read more

"Very happy with our experience with Moose and his team. It was our first buying experience, and we were very pleased with the consistency in communicating and always felt like we were understood and heard--that happened the entire time. The Tuesday updates are great, the entire team is just impressive and awesome. There's nothing that would give me reservations about not sending people their way, I would definitely recommend them to everyone." read more

We liked working with Moose and his team during the stressful season of buying a new home. His team answered questions quickly, even ones that were out of the norm. Moose had great insight and expertise. They know South Seattle well and are an intricate part of the community. We highly recommend working with The Moose Group. read more

Detailed Review Below: Bottom Line - Moose Math was fantastic. Excellent communication, very knowledgeable and very personable. Highly recommended. Moose Math was a pleasure to work with. My 6 month pregnant wife and I had were looking for our first VA home purchase and found it with Moose. Prior to meeting Mr. Math, we worked with another agent that I felt was sub par. After we fired her, interest rates were fluctuating, we were getting burned out on the home search and my wife wasn't getting any less pregnant! Needless to say we were getting a bit discouraged. Enter Moose Math. I cold called him because he was selling a house that I was interested in and I just got rid of my previous agent. I was skeptical about what services he could provide after my previous experience but then he said, "Let me EARN your business." I knew right away that he was someone I could work with and that was willing to put in the appropriate time to make sure my wife and I got what we wanted. Our initial meeting was fantastic. He met us at a house that both my wife and I were interested in and then pulled out his Ipad to give an overview of the market, the Seattle area, financing, how the short sale process works and the home buying process in general. Great use of technology to convey his ideas not to mention it set us at ease knowing the process. Moose worked with us in scouting out locations, finding homes that just got on the market and in grasping what the term "fixer upper" truly entailed. He took time to understand what our idea of fixing up meant (tightening a couple screws and putting up paint not ripping down walls!) which helped focus us too. He clearly outlined pros and cons of each house and location and helped us discover areas of Seattle that we were previously unfamiliar with. Understands his audience - I am an accountant and my wife is a nurse. I am very numbers oriented and she is more emotional. Moose spent considerable time talking negotiation and finance strategy with me but also broke complex theory down simply for my wife as well. We were both happy to have Moose bridge the gap between us resulting in a house that was satisfying both emotionally and financially prudent. Knows the market - while other agents avoid short sales and foreclosures Moose was not afraid of the additional work. He outlined what the short sale process entailed, how long it could take and the risk involved. He's experienced and was able to contact banks and cut through a lot of red tape that other agents feared. Although we eventually bought a non-foreclosure it was great to not be limited in our selection. Moose had no problem navigating the additional VA paperwork required for our sale, Timely Communication - Fast Clear communication via phone, text and email. Always available and responds quickly. Outlined the home-buying experience so we always knew what was happening throughout the process Quality associates - Moose was very respectful of my pre-approved financing but asked if I was interested in trying one of his associates, Keith Akada, to see if he could beat my bank's rate. This saved us a quarter point on our initial financing and set me up with a great contact for our refinance. Keith works very well with Moose and this makes the process smooth for everyone. Cares that you're in the right house. My wife fell in love with our house first, but I thought she may have been jumping in a little quickly (she fell in love with a few houses before too!). Moose took time to meet with me separately to discuss my concerns, tour a couple more houses without my wife for comparison and to really discuss the pros and cons of the house without emotion. A year later we are very happy to be in our home with our little daughter. We got an excellent rate on our house and would gladly recommend Moose and his associates to our friends and family. read more

We sold a condo and bought our house with Moose and couldn't have been more satisfied with his hard work, friendliness and market savvy. He sold our condo in the midst of a down market. By helping us keep ahead of the market in pricing, we were able to sell in a reasonable amount of time--other units stayed on the market months longer and ended up selling for far less. He was very straight with us, telling us what we really needed to hear. Other agents remarked that they were impressed with the turn-around on our sale. Moose spent many evenings and weekends with us to finally find a house that fit with what we needed. In price negotiations, we were able to get a price astoundingly lower than what we would have thought possible. Moose gave us great referrals for other services we needed in the buying/selling process. We hope to use him again in the future the next time we need an agent. read more

We needed to expand fast, we went from a family of 4 to a family of 6 , so we needed more space! We chose The Moose Group first because of the referral we got from our friend. But after experiencing it all, we are going to continue using the team for ANY of our real estate needs. They are efficient and fast; our townhouse sold in less than 2weeks and once we found our next home we closed that as well in less than 2weeks. You guys provided a 100% result and were 100% professional. We would recommend The Moose Group to anyone who has any buying, selling, or any real estate needs. read more

As a lender, I have worked with Mustapha "Moose" Math on multiple real estate transactions for years now. I take my business seriously, representing and advising my clients. I've completed four real estate transactions using the services of Moose Math as my Realtor over the years (two home sales, two home purchases), five if I also count The Moose Group's help with my son and his fiancé's first time home purchase, and I highly recommend Moose and his team. From a strictly business standpoint, they are consummate professionals. I feel confident when working with them that every deadline will be met, every i dotted, and every t crossed. From a personal standpoint, Moose is simply good people and I think he surrounds himself with other good people. Moose clearly cares about his clients, his team, as well as the myriad other professionals he comes in contact with every day in the course of running his business. From what I've seen, Moose seems committed to helping everyone he works with to succeed. He took the time to help me figure out what I wanted and what I needed in a home, and then helped me find a great fit. He helped guide me and keep me calm and confident through a home purchase in a very hot, very fast-paced housing market that can get overwhelming at times, and throughout the process he also kept it fun. Thanks Moose Math and The Moose Group! Moving is hard work so I hope to never have to do it again, but if I do, I would definitely use their services again, and will confidently refer everyone I know to them for their Real Estate needs, knowing they'll do an excellent job. read more

I first came to Moose when I was considering buying a house because of a recommendation from long time friends of mine. When I met with Mustapha he sat down an d took note of what I was looking for and explained to me a bit about diffident neighborhoods I was interested in. I am afraid Mustapha didn't know quite what he was asking for when he started working for me as ended up dragging him from the Lake Stevens/Everett area all the way down to Kent/Covington area (including a few stops in between). During the whole time he was patient with me and helped me understand what I was looking at and for. The interesting part about this is that after I decided on a home my financing fell through and out of frustration I decided to give up. After all the time he spent with me he did not end up making a dime off of it, but he was never anything but nice about it and wanted to help me anyway he could. I contacted Mustapha periodically over the next year or two asking questions about houses, and he always would get back to me with his opinions. Finally I decided to buy a home again and I contacted Moose and not only was he happy to help me again, offered me information on lenders he worked with at my request. In the end I bought a nice little home in South Seattle and Mustapha was with me the whole time; he has stayed in contact with me to follow up even after his job was done. I would (and have) recommend Mustapha to anyone I know. I am very happy with the house and the help Mustapha gave me. read more

We went from "casually looking" to "let's buy this house" in the span of hours. Moose and team did an incredible job of helping us navigate the home buying process as first-time buyers who were absolutely clueless about everything. We always felt like we were top priority and could easily get a hold of someone within minutes literally any time we had questions - a very different experience from other agents we worked with! Moose worked really hard to find the right offer and details that would work for us and was a great resource for referrals and everything else we could possibly need! It feels great to be able to turn our daydream into a reality - I can't imagine how we would have done it without these guys!!! They took us from being confused and overwhelmed about the home buying process to feeling confident and happy with our new home. The Moose Group team was great. Not only was everyone professional and good at their jobs, but they are also genuinely nice people. We really enjoyed working with them. When you get both of those things, that's great. The best thing was the communication, they have a team chat with myself and my wife. Any time we had a question, we asked in the team chat, the communication was always very open and direct. We interviewed several different realtors. When Moose came by he not only impressed us with his knowledge but with his passion. He was the only one with an actual plan on how to sell our house. We had a great experience, we trusted Moose and his process and it worked out great for us. Moose, Courtney, and Romly went above and beyond for us. Stuff I thought a realtor would never do for us, Moose did it for us. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Moose on the recent purchase of our home. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Moose and his team. We recently sold our home in Capitol Hill with Moose Math as our agent. Moose helped us find a contractor and landscaper to fix up our place before selling. I was very happy I used The Moose Group to sell my home. The entire team has great energy, very warm and easy to work with. Teddy and Moose are a good team and their strengths complement each other well. Teddy is so genuine and easy to be around. His humility stands out to me. Moose and Audrey made the selling of our home as efficient and easy as possible. Both of them were very accessible and responsive to all of our questions and needs. In the beginning of the process Moose and I sat down to level set expectations and develop a plan for all of us to follow. This was very helpful since this was our first home sale. Even though we were force to make a couple changes to the plan due to market changes Moose delivered on everything he committed including the final sale price. Moose listed our Beacon Hill home for sale in May 2017. We had used a discount broker in the past and would never choose to do that again. Bottom line: Moose's strategy worked. I'm quite confident that of the 3 realtors we hired, Moose got us by far the most money for our house. He was totally on top of things. We worked with Moose Math, who was referred to me by Keith Akada at the Mortgage Reel. Moose helped us buy our first home in Bellevue, and if it weren't for the simple fact that he is so quick to respond either via text, email, or telephone, I don't know if we would have been able to beat the multiple offers on the house we wanted on the first day it came on the market. As a proactive home buyer, I had been checking redfin like a hawk for any new listings within a certain price range in Bellevue (few and far between by the way), I found a home I wanted to see on the first day it was listed. Moose was going away that same day for a quick weekend trip, but he made himself available and we got in right away. Moose is likable, can occupy your little ones while you view a house, and he communicates well. It definitely helps to have a personable and likable realtor, especially if a seller's agent thinks so as well. Anyway, Moose is a trustworthy realtor and we readily recommend him to anyone. We will be sure to use him again in the future. read more

Time has flown by in the time that I have known Moose. So much that it just hit me that this is the second home he has helped me to sell. My first home and now my parents home. The best word to describe Moose is Trust. I trusted him with the marketing, pricing, negotiations and recommendations. This time around when I had to sell my parents home we needed to have work done. He recommended what needed to be done, found the contractors and even met them when I could not be there to get the quote. When I could not decide, again I trusted him to make the decision of who to hire with no regrets. In real estate right now in Seattle, you have to be able to trust the agent you are working with to protect your best interest and most importantly, your home. If trust is important to you then I would highly recommend Moose and his team. Thank you again Moose! I really needed to lean on you and you came through big time for my family. Thank you! read more

I recently went thought the (initially) daunting process of buying my first home. The process ended up being enjoyable and smooth thanks in part to my agent Audrey Tomlinson (member of Moose Math group). Audrey was knowledgable and more than willing to answer my questions and explain steps in the home buying process. She was in constant communication with me via phone, text, and email. As we toured homes, it was evident that she was very knowledgable about the Renton area and had toured hundreds of homes with clients. As we entered a home, Audrey would let me form an opinion about a property while answering my questions and pointing out details that I may not have thought of otherwise as a first time homebuyer. She'd help me think through the process of determining if the property was a good fit for me. Eventually I found a home that I loved and Audrey helped me come to the decision to inspect the home prior to the date that the seller was to accept bids. Audrey facilitated coordinating the inspection and our next steps for formulating an appropriate and knowledgable bid. Audrey made sure paperwork was complete and submitted in a timely manner. I would recommend Audrey and Moose with confidence to anyone looking for a real estate agent. read more
