Then he proceeded to completely fail in any attempt to represent me. He was so awful that the judge actually dismissed the case without prejudice, and the judge literally said, that if I could find another avenue to address this, and give me an opportunity to find another lawyer. That tells you how bad he was, even the judge saw his incompetence. I wouldn't recommend him to the devil himself. Stay away from this man. He'll take your money and his level of malfeasance is staggering. Please please please, do not hire him for anything..

Working with Breanne was a pleasure; She works efficiently, but also listens with an empathetic ear. She was professional, gave sound advice and kept me informed through the process. She also prepared me to have realistic expectations. Breanne is also quite personable, relatable and has a sense of humor, which is nice as tensions can get high when one is getting a divorce. I recommended her to anyone who's looking for legal services.

First one lawyer/admin/paralegal took my call and gave me an estimate. Then she scheduled a 2 hour call with another lawyer in the firm. By the end of the 2 hour call, the new lawyer then gave me another estimate to finish the project that was way higher than the initial quote but I feel obligated to continue with them because of the 2 hour ($600+) sunk cost. What was more unacceptable was that the lawyer's response was not timely. Sometimes she didn't respond for 4 or 5 days after multiple follow up emails. And she claimed that she didn't receive the final signed document from the opposing lawyer due to email server issue (which I received through regular consumer Gmail account). I am not sure if she is telling the truth. If she is, I wouldn't want to work with a firm that has unstable email servers that may miss important legal emails.

In November 2021, I visited his office to get copies of some of the documentation from the 2017 case. While waiting for the copies to be presented to me I quietly paced in the lobby. Within minutes Michael Jacobs himself stormed down from his office to ask me what I needed. When I told him that I was waiting for copies of my paperwork he told me to sit down. I told him that I was fine standing and that I would be leaving shortly (as soon as I got the copies, which I was told would be ready in a few minutes). He aggressively told me again to sit down. This encounter made me extremely uncomfortable. I regret working with this firm and cannot believe how poorly they treated me, their customer (who paid their office $5K for their mediocre services). If I could choose zero stars I would.
