In order to keep my insurance, my husband must have a physical, have several tests, and have the physician complete a form by a certain date every year. The staff never heard of such a thing - and I work for one of the largest employers in the region which is 10 minutes down the road from their Mystic office. Furthermore: (1) You cannot call and speak with any staff - you must leave "a non urgent voice mail." Then the same person calls you back. (2) They refused to give my husband his blood test results. They told him (after he left several "non-urgent voice mails") that he must schedule another visit and take more time off from work just for that purpose. (3) They are refusing to fax the blood test results to the medical office where I work so that I can keep our insurance. (4) My husband called and left another "non-urgent voice mail" and the reply was "YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN A PATIENT IN THIS OFFICE, WE HAVE NO RECORD OF YOU BEING HERE." (5) Everyone my husband has had interaction with seemed disinterested, confused about insurance practices, and the need to submit biometrics forms so that patients can keep their employee health insurance. Save yourself the hassle, time and expense - go elsewhere for primary care.

He was having back pain and it was getting worst; he had the worst time getting someone to call him back whenever he was in desperate need. He is patient and tends to wait until someone calls him back giving people the benefit of the doubt. When he has not gotten a response, he has gone to the facility only to be promised that someone would call him back but no called even after an MRI for extreme pain. After another incident this week, he checked into an emergency room for extreme pain and was told to see his primary after a few days. After numerous calls and walk in to Hartford Healthcare in Mystic; he was told no one could help him, that his APRN was on her day off. He asked for another doctor and they told him they would prefer he wait for his nurse practitioner!!!! They told him to go back to the emergency room if he was still in pain -SERIOUS??? Time to find a new doctor.

He's been my primary care doctor for about four years and has never made me feel unimportant or afraid of whatever obstacle i've encountered with. I'm convinced he has super powers because every diagnosis has been correct and every treatment has worked, and if it didn't the first try he always goes the extra mile and makes sure you get the best possible end result. 10/10 recommend Dr.Anderson if you're looking for a doctor
