I went in for a routine cleaning and Gayle was absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't have asked for a more friendly and personable hygienist. She genuinely made the experience pleasant and enjoyable. Dr Kwon and his team are the absolute best. The facilities are immaculate, service is stellar and there is an obvious focus on fostering relationships. The care he extends to his patients and the community is apparent to anyone who has spent any time with him. For those that have never been to the office, it is the cleanest, most technologically advanced dental office you've ever seen. I can understand why some people think it is corporate owned. They couldn't be more wrong. Grace Dental is a family owned small business with an exceptional owner in Dr Kwon and his wife who are simply professional beyond belief, take pride in their business and pay attention to the smallest details. If you're looking for a dentist that is amazing at what they do, provide amazing service, and are relational, this is it.

The entire staff from the front desk to the hygienists and doctors are all warm and welcoming. I never felt pressured or upsold on anything and while they are constantly booked up with appointments months out, they set aside dates and times for new patients and/or emergencies. On top of that, they're open early in the mornings AND on weekends so they make it easy for people who can't take time off of work during the week. I've done a deep cleaning here, replaced an old crown and even did the in-office zoom teeth whitening. All in all, I highly recommend coming to Grace Dental if you're looking for a good dentist.

My case is a little complicated. He genuinely wanted to find solutions he both recommended, but also worked for me. Second, Dr. Cody and his five-star staff are incredibly accommodating and considerate. Can't say enough about what good, kind and competent people Gloria, Alejandra and Alicia are. How refreshing! I had an issue crop up two days after my very first visit. I called and Dr. Cody spoke with me directly then had me come in. We dealt with the issue (not major, fortunately) and he said he could do my upcoming filling work while I was still there. How considerate that he was willing to save me another two-hour round trip! So, I needed composite resin fillings on my two front teeth, where they meet the gumline. These are front-row center fillings ideally made to look just like your teeth. Absolutely no pressure, Dr. Cody! But he instilled a level of trust in me from the first appointment. I required novocaine and Dr. Cody is a MASTER of the slow, gentle numbing injection. I felt virtually nothing when he did it. Amazing. The composite fillings he created, supported skillfully by dental assistant Gloria, are absolutely perfect. Truly. Perfect. Can't even tell anything was done and the color is beautiful. Dr. Cody is a gentle, thoughtful perfectionist and it shows abundantly in all aspects of his work. I was looking for a "forever dentist" and I am so fortunate I found Dr. Cody. He's everything you want in a dentist and more.

Everyone at Dr. Field's office exemplifies Concierge Dentristry. Think of regular commercial airlines as being the usual dentist's office - and Dr. Field's office being the latest Gulf Stream G700 private long range jet. And Dr. Field is THE BEST. What he did with my mouth is nothing short of a total transformation, health wise for my mouth , bite wise and appearance wise. I liked what I was reading about Dr. Yaley's practice and decided to take a chance. I emailed the office explaining my predicament, and received a response in short order from Sonia. She said they had two openings in the coming days and asked which would work better for me. I chose one and sent Sonia my insurance information. When I arrived for my appointment, Sonia had a big smile and all of the paperwork ready. In a matter of minutes, Mary (the hygienist) came out with her own great big smile and brought me back to the room. After getting all settled, Dr. Yaley came in and spoke to me for a few minutes to get acquainted and caught up on my dilemma. Dr. Yaley walked me through my options. Once we agreed on the course of action, Dr. Yaley took incredible care of me during the process - taking all necessary steps to minimize any discomfort - and got me all fixed up and feeling better. Dr. Yaley and her staff are AWESOME! As much as I liked my previous dentist, I was even happier with this team. Dr Lucy Hua: I can NOT recommend…read more I did significant research and she came to the top of the list; but I went to see her. In her office, she had another dentist see me. They took a large number of x-rays. When they found out that I had another insurance policy as well, she decided to take even more x-rays. The work plan clearly would finance a new car. Couldn't believe the amount of decay that was discovered by this dentist and needed work. This reminded me of over 40+ years ago, my now wife, went to a dentist for an emergency and that dentist agreed to treat her, if she would come back for needed polishing of her amalgams. My old dentist didn't see these issues. I went to a new dentist a year later, who took new x-rays. This dentist, also a woman, is not on my dental plan; but is highly recommended. I had one cracked filling that needed to be repaired. Most of this was not covered by insurance; but turns out this was MUCH less money and much less impact to my mouth. Given the research I had done and the recommendations I had received, you can tell that I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in Lucy Hua's office. My teeth and mouth are in much better shape in not going to her practice!

I had a NIGHTMARE of experience with covered california & their assigned added delta dental HMO plan with no help to provide care for my 4 year old son whom complained of mouth pain. I went back & forth many times calling & requesting to speak to supervisors to escalate the issue with no resolution for a week. I even signed up for additional insurance in hopes to just get treatment but that solution still fell into the category of unknown of "in network" care & costs AND the plan didn't go into effect the following month which is useless because my son needed care NOW. Fast forward to doing research & reaching out to dental practices to find a solution, I came across Pediatric Dentistry Palo Alto which offered their own membership which was effective immediately & they had appointment availability to be seen the following day, I finally felt a sigh of relief. I could already tell the high quality of care my son would receive not only by the reviews I read, but also by the photos of the office, the location, and also by the way the staff communicated with me to address my concerns both financially & clinically for my son. The front desk Tony & Alani, were prompt in their responses & were solution focused which I appreciated most. Tony went above & beyond to assist with getting the financial program situated. We scheduled with Dr Adam through the portal & the staff informed us that Dr. Jon will be seeing my son instead because change in Dr Adam's schedule. I read high reviews for Dr Jon & we agreed that was fine. The experience: when we first walked in, the office is modern, clean & well kept. They had images of characters to create a welcoming atmosphere for kids. We were fortunate to work with our hygienist Andres whom was patient & worked so well with our 4 year old. It was perfect because before their treatment, they bring them into their video closet which our son got to choose & they display it on a screen above the treatment chair which we thought was very clever & cool! My son mentioned he was scared to go to the dentist & did so well because the whole staff created a welcoming & comforting atmosphere. Dr Jon was amazing, he has a great presence with kids as he is a father himself. We appreciated his realistic, honest approach to treatment & how thorough he was at explaining all the details. We are so relieved & happy that we stumbled upon this dental practice! We travel from San Francisco & Dr Jon asked if we were ok with the distance & we mentioned to him that we are the type of people to drive the distance to receive quality care.
